They have changed parts of the games.

- Pokemon contests
- Battle tower
- Pal Park
- Diffrent puzzles
- Underground
- Spirtitomb (Requires you to do some tedious thing in the underground)
- Pokemon follows you
- Berries
- Hold items
- Global Trading

etc etc

So to say they haven't enhanced gameplay is a bit silly to say.
Not only all that but a night and day cycle where certain pokemon only come out at night and day.
The little changes they make to the games are enough to keep fans coming back. Why change something that isn't broken.

The Gold and Silver generation was, in my opinion, the best. Ruby and Sapphire were good, Fire Red and Leaf Green were good in the sense that Red and Blue were good, and the latest one made me want to vomit my own intestines into my DS to stop the baaaaaaaaaddddd.

I had:
Yellow
Gold
Ruby
Fire Red
Pearl (But I did find that in a park.)

Gold was the best because it had a decent amount of Pokemon to catch, without the numbers becoming astronomical. And it had Johto and Kanto, which made it a massive game, and you fought Red from the first games at the end. A decent story, adventure and an actual sense of adventure.

So, Heart Gold should be the greatest thing in human history, especially if they put in all the legendaries, but I'm preparing for disappointment.

Quite of legends they got. Check on Serebii.net, every bit of information is there.

Ahhh, I've heard about this. I'm kinda shocked they're releasing another generation so quickly. Though, I am kind of excited for them, lols. Yes, yes, I shall be getting the game. When it comes out. ^_^

Hmm...throughout the years, I think I gathered quite the collection...

There's:

Red, Yellow, and Blue
Gold, Silver, and Crystal
Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald
LeafGreen, FireRed
Diamond, Pearl, Platinum

And various others. They aren't portable RPGs, though. Unless you count Mystery Dungeon. I tend to usually not count those, though.
Try this, you might like it.

The new pokemon look a bit gay, but then they always do when you first see them.

I've hated the new pokemon since Ruby and Sapphire. In the first generation, you could see what they were based on easily, the name usually told you. It went "Thing relating to their type ---> What they look like." I.e. Bulbaisaur. Charizard. Now it's just like they're taking either insanely abstract shapes, and making up word to go with them, or takiing something straight out of real life, and barely changing the name at all. That is, Wingul, and the likes of Palkia and Dialga. And they're staring to look like the overly cartoonish mega-man villains now. Not even in a good way.

Oh, another thing I can rant about! Putting in evolved forms of Pokemon that have been around since the first generation! How unbelievably thick are the scientists that haven't bothered to investigate Lickitung yet? I mean really, it turns out that the Zubat you caught at the start of every game you bought to fill you Pokedex can actually evolve into Jesus! Yes, and Professor B***** Oak could never work that out. Noooo, he just sent out kids to do his research for him!

Ok, I'm done.

You are calm and reposed, let your beauty unfold

Hahaha.

The original 150 were the best pokemon, they started getting a bit lame after that, even in the 2nd generation which were the best set of games. Flaffy, the electric sheep? Girafarig the psycic giraffe? There were few pokemon from the second generation I really liked, like Tyranitar and all of the starter's, but I dislike most of the pokemon from the 3rd generation onward. I doubt I'll even acknowledge this game, I'll be too busy playing Soul Silver.

I might as well buy it. I'm always curious on what they come up with, and I don't tend to critique a game until I'm finished with it.

Hmmm...I never cared much about the shapes of Pokemon...well, maybe that's why I get any new game they announce, lols.

Try this, you might like it.

The definition of pokemon being "gay" doesn't really work lol, they're meant to be bright and colourful and appealing towards innocent children rather than teenagers and university/college students. People who were in University when the first lot came out aren't likely to have been thrilled by some tiny yellow mouse that shoots lightning from its cheeks, so that explains why you probably don't like the new ones. Kids who have never seen pokemon before will be really into them, as well as hardcore fans of the series, and thats all Nintendo can ask for really.

I personally prefer the original 150 (not including Mew tbh) because they were THE ORIGINAL, Silver and Gold were good games and I remember everybody was excited for a sequel but 5 generations of pokemon later is kinda pushing it. I don't know any of the 3rd and 4th generations really so goodness knows how I'd be able to remember a 5th gen as well lol. I probably won't be buying it, as I didn't the last few games, but I'd give a demo a go just to see what it was like, as I would most games.
