Once for most games based on a Japanese superhero comic - 81 titles between 1986 and 2008 Twice for largest character roster in a fighting game - Budokai Tenkaichi 3 with 161 characters I found this information very cool

Mozilla Firefox Favourite Manga not sure (havn't read too many), but if you think there is one I would like, please tell me.	it doesn't suprise me. other games don't attempt having so many characters out of fear of being criticized for "cloning", but dbz had a simple enough fighting engine that it wasn't a big deal to add 60 more.....or a hundred. most games from a single title however is just evidence of how much Bandai has been milking it ever since they got some of the rights.....I wish they'd just give it to Capcom so they could make a truley awesome one, or some other game company devoted to high calibur art and gameplay, maybe even Squarenix with their recent "FF Dissidia engine".

Google chrome Favourite Manga Same as Anime	Well i guess since the transformations look different and have different attacks and different fighting styles they are considered as more characters. There is 97 characters not including the transformations i believe. I can't believe there has been so many Dragonball games.
