I would say that 17 is a bit stronger than 18. But 16 is way stronger than 17 and 18. 17 also thinks he's the ultimate android! 17 is more of a fighter than 18. |

Ahh, don't assume Seventeen is stronger because he's male. Remember. They're andriods. f you're talking human bodies, you're way off the line, my friend. So, we could assume Seventeen is stronger because he's more of a figher. But, that's pure assumption. Wouldn't you want to really confirm your opinion in a topic like this? I agree with Psyam. Sevnteen is most likely more skilled. Eghiteen seems like the type of andriod who won't fight she must. I still think it's his ego talking when he says he's the Ultimate Andriod. Back in DBZ, anyway. Throwing GT in the equation complicates things. D: |

But they do have human bodies. 18 even had a child. They're merely enhanced with artifical implants. Technically speaking they're actually cyborgs. Cybernetic organisms. Android 16 is a true android though. All machine unlike 17 and 18 who are mostly human. |

Why 18 is clearly above 17: - Even though the manga mentions that 17 was supposed to be slightly stronger, Toriyama made the following statement during an interview when he was asked who was the strongest between 17 and 18: "Although 17's power was meant to be slightly above 18's, a flaw in his programming limited his power, making him unable to use his full potential. This flaw was corrected on 18, making her the strongest of both cyborgs." - During the Piccolo vs 17 fight, 18 states being stronger than 17 (Her exact words: "Come on, finish him off! If you can't do it then maybe you sould let someone who can! Like me!"). And the most important part, 17 DOESN'T contradict this statement, he simply declines her offer. - In the future timeline flashbacks, it can be seen how Future 18 is perfectly able to handle Future Gohan in a one on one fight. However, we can see how Future 17 struggles against the same opponent in the amusement park fight, 18 inflicted damage than 17 ever did. "False" statements about Android 17 being above 18: - Dragon Ball GT: DBGT is completely invalid and non canon, DBZ events continue with the Dragon Ball Online manga (where Toriyama was deelply involved) and not with GT. - The fact that 17 is the "leader" does NOT mean he is stronger. Have a look at Cooler's soldiers; Salza's power level is 170,000 and Doore's is 185,000. Yet, Salza is the leader of the group. - The "the lower number - more power" logic is 100% incorrect. It is contradicted by Android 20 being stronger than Android 19. Android 19 was only stronger than 20 after absorbing Goku's and Vegeta's energy. Accorging to the facts I've just stated I think I proved how 18 is stronger than 17. The actual android power level scale is 16 > 18 > 17 > 20 > 19. - I can't find the exact source of the interview. In fact I don't even know if the interview was posten on the Internet, however, if you do some research you'll be able to find evidence of Toriyama's statement. - Still canon, the anime "amplifies" the manga. - Those flashbacks were part of Cell Saga, they ARE canon. And the fact that 17 is unable to defeat Gohan is canon, you can find it in the manga. - Those power levels are official, released by V-Jump. Doore IS stronger than Salza. |

The interview doesn't exist, that's why. That's never been said. You can go look on Kanzenshuu. They have every interview by AT.
The manga is the source material, hence it is canon. The anime is non-canon. AT barely worked on it. #17 unable to defeat Gohan isn't in the manga. We don't see them fight at all.
Official doesn't mean correct. The movie shows Salza putting up a much better fight than the other two. Edited by Pyrus, Dec 18 2012, 12:32 AM.

18 underestimated Piccolo's power , and 18 saying that he could defeat Piccolo doesn't mean 18>17!!
Thats filler. And you if you go by fillers , they had the same powerlevel in Future timeline.
17 says that he was the strongest android until he saw 16 fighting against Cell , so that makes him stronger than 18 duh he is the brother of her. Sauza>Doore. How can you put Doore above Sauza? Did you ever saw the movie?Wasn't Doore the one who got stomped by Piccolo? Being the leader makes you the strongest , take a look at Ginyu. or is Jeice stronger than Ginyu too?
20>19. 19 stronger than 20 after absorbing Goku and vegeta's energy? Nope he can't surpass 20 so fast , and oh wait Vegeta? 19 never absorbed his energy son. 20 absorbed Vegeta's blast.

- Again, I'd suggest you to do some research about it. You'll find the evidenceI was talking about. It's perfectly possible that they could have missed that one. You can't fully rely on that webpage. - It is true that manga > anime, however, you cannot say that every single anime fact is invalid. It amplifies facts that don't appear in the manga. - Same happens with Jeice. Jeice is Ginyu Force's number 2, however, his power level rests slightly below Recoome's and Burter. |

I'm saying that 18 stated being stronger than 17 and he never objected. - Even if it is a filler, they didn't. 18 did stuff that 17 was unable to do. - Official power levels released by V-Jump. Doore is stronger than Salza. - 19 and 20 were close. Absorbing Goku's energy could perfectly place 19 above 20, and 19 DID absorb Vegeta's energy (even though he was later destroyed by him). 16 > 18 > 17 > 20 > 19. |

I'd suggest you do some research. The burden is on you to provide the interview. I have what the manga and guidebooks say, as I've shown you in the link in my first response to you. I'm not going to buy into random heresay. That's how a lot of false "facts" and rumors have started in this community, and I'm not about to let this site become the starting point for another one.
It doesn't matter what happens in the anime. The manga is the canon source. Whatever it says goes, over all other mediums of the franchise, other than AT's own word of course. You also have differences between the English and Japanese anime, so you should specify which version you're getting your information from.
That's not a fact, just your opinion. |

This is why no one can take you seriously. Going by the anime Mr.Popo is stronger than the Kids, You also have that Kid Buu > Super Buu quote + SSJ Goku beating Mystic Gohan, 18 being stronger than the SSJ kids and etc. The anime has many plot holes. Also even if 18 said "why dont you let someone who can like me" it dosen't mean she's stronger she was being ignorant and overconfident. Doore isn't stronger than Salza. Salza did a better job aganist Piccolo than he did. The power levels they have are bs too considering by the time this movie was made which was after the Frieza arc Gohan and Krillin should be atleast 500k+. And Doore and Neiz were stronger than them. |
