I agree though. It was the best filler fight by far.

Oh, about SSJ2 Goku taking on Kid Buu and doing well...yeah doesn't make much sense considering how Vegeta got completely trashed later, but it is filler after all. You could just say Kid Buu was only warming up I guess. :P
or maybe Vegeta wasn't ssj2, but eh what do i know....?

son goku(kiao-ken) vs. vegeta(saiyan prince) was the best fight of the series...
thats if you watch KAI in Super HD!!

Nothing indicates that Vegeta got any weaker after being brought back from the dead.


SSJ2 Goku = SSJ2 Vegeta


As we can see Vegeta gets trashed. So Goku should as well.


But nonetheless a great fight.
maybe a figment of my imagination but it seems that all the signs point to vegeta being ALOT weaker than goku, but how can that be since they both "SSJ2"?

i dont know why you guys choose to ignore that suggestion and yet wonder still wonder why he was so weak during that fight.

showin Vegeta gettin trashed, and Goku not, only proves that the creators always rooted for Goku to keep his dignity visually, while letting Vegeta get the scraps or 2nd hand winnings..

 Vegeta was SSj2. When Goku uses it against Yakon, Vegeta says "So, he's surpassed the Saiyan wall as well". That alone suggests he had the form too. Why would he say something like that if he didn't have SSj2? He'd be a freaking retard, and nothing points to Vegeta having a mental deficiency in the Boo Arc.

Or I guess you missed when Goku goes SSj2 in their fight, then Vegeta transforms as well, with the same aura and same sparks as Goku. Why would Goku be surprised if Vegeta hadn't turned SSj2 as well?

Really, there's ZERO evidence that Vegeta couldn't go SSj2. I want you to present me with one solid piece of evidence that proves he couldn't do it while every other Saiyan, including the fusions, could.

Vegeta having sparks in his fight with Kid Boo proves he did use SSj2 there. Can you show me any instance where a SSj2 didn't have lightning, and a SSj did? Just one. And no, when Vegetto transforms doesn't count. You say Vegeta was so "weak" therefore he couldn't be a SSj2, yet Gohan is a complete contradiction to this baseless assumption. Gohan was a lot weaker than both Goku and Vegeta, yet he was a SSj2, he had sparks, he had the aura... just like Vegeta, just like Goku.

Toei just loves Goku and it was the beginning of the fight. Do you honestly expect them to show Goku getting his ***** handed to him in the beginning of the fight? It's filler anyway, it doesn't even count in a real discussion.

Vegeta was SSJ 2 before Majin, It is pretty obvious why should Vegeta fight Gohan who is SSJ 2? Vegeta might be cooky but not that cooky, Then why is Vegeta implying that Goku has ALSO reached SSJ 2? SSJ forms can´t be achieved with just a power boost, It was probably harsh training smiliar to his training in the android saga.
Once upon a time, there used to be a signature. Then it got lame, and now I'm out of options for a new one.

 Really, all you need is Vegeta's comment about Goku surpassing the Saiyan wall. You cannot deny that Vegeta wouldn't say that unless he'd attained SSj2 as well. If you have another explanation, feel free, but it won't disprove what I just said.

And like Nusu said, why would Vegeta challenge Gohan if he didn't have SSj2 himself? That's utter stupidity, even for Vegeta. He's not THAT cocky. He knows his limits, especially by the time of the Boo Arc.

Do you honestly believe SSj Vegeta got enough power from Babidi to make him equal to SSj2 Goku? Honestly? Do you think that makes any sense at all?
