I prefer the playstation three. It's the system I converted to after being a long nintendo fan. I had playstation two and now I'm a fan of playstation three. The free online is a plus also. I'm a college student so paying for such things as online is a hassle. |

I like both, they both have pretty much the same library of games and both of them have their strong individual selling points. The 360 has FAR superior multimedia and net capabilities while the PS3 has more powerful graphic capabilities thanks to the Blue Ray technology. The only constant gripe I have with the 360 is the controller; would it kill Microsoft to make a controller with a decent d-pad?

360, better games with better MP options imo. And it's a lot cheaper than the PS3. PS3 is way overpriced!! Oh, and HALO ~Tim |

I'm a fan of both, but I have back 360 here. Cheaper, better multiplayer options, and if it breaks Microsoft pretty much throw a replacement at you lol. |

Yeah halo rocks and gears of war. The only selling points for the PS3 in my opinion are blu ray player, god of war and killzone.

They're about the same in my opinion, but 360 wins for me because it got there first. No point in me getting a PS3 now when I have a 360 and they share much of the same games. I also prefer Xbox Live from what I've seen of the play-station live, even if it does have a subscription. I heard they were gonna do some kind of sub thing for PS3 as well though, for special benefits or something. I do prefer the play-station controls as I've been a long time player of the PS1 and PS2, but I think the 360 controller is great, I'm just not as used to it as the old play-station controls. 360 for me simply because it came out first and I bought it. |

I have an Xbox 360 and am entirely happy with it. Great graphics, great game selection, I've heard the online play is way better than PS3 (mine isn't online) although you do have to pay for it. The only problem (and it would be a big one) is if when Kingdom Hearts 3 comes out, it's a Playstation exclusive. That would suck majorly. But my vote goes to the 360, although I haven't played much of the PS3 apart from at my friends house. |

I am looking forward to Kingdom Hearts 3, but to refrain from getting off topic... I really do like my 360 but PS3 is starting to get good selections and free Playstaion Network is good. |

PS3. But Xbox had a better 2009 with 2 exclusive GTA Games. Why I chose PS3? Halo doesn't impress me. Online is free Blu Ray |

360s were cheaper in the beginning because of so many hidden costs. 1, you either got no hard drive, or a smaller one than the PS3 offered. 2, the wireless controllers use batteries, so you'd have to buy a rechargable, which came standard with the PS3 controller. 3, Unless your 360 was right next to your router, you'd have to pay extra for a wireless network adapter. Comes standard with PS3. 4, Online subscription, though I admit it has better features, the actual difference in online play is minimal. I'd much rather pay nothing. Not to mention, Netflix is coming to the PSN. As far as graphics both have their ups and downs. There's an article on Gamespot that compares games side by side, though in my opinion they are flawed because they played them both in 720p. There's no doubt in my mind that at 1080p the PS3 graphics would be superior. Also, the fact that blu-ray has won the format wars would mean that in order for XBOX owners to enjoy blu-rays is for an add-on, or another console completely. More money spent. They both have good game selections, 360 has more and some great exclusives, and they are also dipping into some popular Playstation series such as Final Fantasy, and Metal Gear, but that alone doesn't make me want a 360 over a PS3. Yeah, I say PS3. |

Definitely PS3, because they're almost identical aside from the lineups of games; and in this case, I'd go with Playstation's list any day of the week. The only exclusive 360 game I like, and I absolutely love it, is Gears of War. As for the PS3, Infamous alone would be reason enough for me to warrant the console a purchase. There are, of course, others too. Metal Gear Solid 4, Resistance 2, Killzone 2 and so on. |

Ha ha, the lack of exclusives is the only thing that's keeping me from getting a PS3 even though I love the console very much, especially for the great controller. Unfortunately I'm not a big Metal Gear Solid fan and Little Big Planet's physics engine keeps me from liking the game a lot. The main reason I'm getting one is for games that are getting released in the future, like BlazBlue Continuum Shift. |
