NBA season so far....

It truly was a Shawshank redemption

Any NBA followers?

What do you think of the season so far? I know we're barely a quarter of the way in, but what impressions have you gotten so far.

The Suns have definately surprised, Steve Nash has them playing brilliant basketball. However as their recent losses to the Knicks and the Cavs shows, when he's off game or not playing they aren't the same team, which definately puts Nash in the running for MVP.

Brandon Jennings, the Milwaukee (spelling?) Bucks rookie has really impressed. There weren't high expectations of him because he chose to go to Europe when he failed to get into college, but that's worked in both his and the Bucks favour. He's putting up massive numbers, although has cooled off the past few games.

The Cavs have found a working system with Shaq and LeBron has been awesome. I'm going for the Cavs as champs from what I've seen so far, although it is early days.

The Knicks suck again. :( They aren't as bad as last season, but they just suck. They've sucked for a decade. :(

They've picked it up a little over the past 10 games or so. Although everyone knows they're banking on landing a superstar or two in the 2010 free agency. I don't think LeBron will go to the Knicks though, I tihnk he'll stay in Cleveland.

I didn't think Hosuton were doing too badly. They're just outside the play-off positions and have a good chance of nabbing that last place. Plus they've been playing without Yao who is definately a big part of their game.

They also did well in the Trade market adding Kevin Martin who'll give them a massive scoring boost and Jordan Hill who's a good young big who never really got a chance at the Knicks. Although I can't believe they let Landry go, he was one of their best players and had a very low salary for a player of such importance.
I wouldn't be surprised if they managed to get that last play-off spot, although the Western Conference is pretty tough.

Yeah, I heard about that trade of Tracy McGrady. He was my favorite NBA player... but as long as the Rockets get back to winning. Hopefully Yao makes a full recovery from his foot injury.

Yeah I liked Tracy McGrady, he just lost his love ofplaying for Houston which sucked. I hope he can get back to lighting up the scoreboard for the Knicks, which is highly unlikely considering their team is a shambles :P They're definately putting everything on landing LeBron or Wade in the summer.

Huh... yeah It was awesome when Houston has a "big 3" of Yao Ming, Tracy McGrady, and Ron Artest. Yao gets hurt, Tracy gets hurt then traded, and Ron Artest decides to sign with the Lakers at the beginning of the season. Dang that blows. Oh I'm a student at the University of Houston. That's why I love Houston sports. lol
