It truly was a Shawshank redemption

That's awesome! I love it man, I can't pick a flaw. The green and red messy background is great and fits well with the rest of the sig. Brilliant. Maybe try it with some text in one of the bottom corners.

The biggest problem for me is that this piece looks really harsh to the eye. You need to learn how to soften all elementsl up.
I see you explored with Liquify effects, which is good. But the render is not blended with the background, and neither are the effects. It's just all put together on top of each element, and that does not look good.

Experiment all the blending options, see what works, what doesn't... take risks but try to make it look soft in the end. Oh, and a text would be good too, but focus on getting the basic procedures down first.

Keep it up :)

Seems as if I don't know what I'm talking about :P I'd listen to Kris though, she's a good GFXer and I know nothing about it lol I just went on what I saw and liked.

Actually, yes. I learnt a lot of the basic stuff from a HustLa's tutorial (HustLa is one of our best GFXers here).
I'm going to search for it and I'll edit my post when I find it. Stay tunned. :)

ahah thanks Mitas. Well, everybody has different taste, it's good that you liked this piece. I think it has a lot of potential, but definitely lacks fluidity.

A big thanks goes to Kyonko for helping me find the tutorial! And for HustLa, since he was the one who made it! :p
