Posts: 2 Group: New Member Member #4,603 Joined: November 29, 2009	I'm thinking of doing something very similar as to what was shown on XKCD: http://xkcd.com/657/large/ My chart will be using 42 volumes of the manga as a reference, and all filler will be ignored/left for someone else online to do. It will show each character's locations, who currently has the dragon balls and radar, and perhaps even what SSJ form they are in. I already took notes for everyone's location from Arrival of Radditz until Androids 19 and 20. I'll start off with DBZ and then go back to finish Dragon Ball. Right now I'm trying to do the easy stuff so there won't be problems further down the road. This easy stuff includes figuring out how to show Captain Ginyu switching bodies, symbols to include to show fusion/absorption/transformation, and what color everyone should be. Captain Ginyu body switch styles (I need to decide): http://img40.imageshack.us/img40/7079/cptginyuchart.png So I want to hear your opinions so I can decide what to do. Which of the 5 Captain Ginyu body switch styles do you like? Any suggestions? What color for Goku, Gohan, and Goten? (I want them to be some kind of orange, but different shades and tones) How about Krillin? What color used for the unnamed Earth's Population? Should the chart be on a white or a black background? What symbols/style to show SSJ, Fusion, Absorption, Transformations, etc?

Ginyu -With Goku and his sons I would probably stick with orange like you were saying just do different shades or just check out what chi chis color is and do a mix with that. -I would do a red for krillin -Black backgrounds are best if you're using bright colors -I guess you could explore using dashed lines, lines that glow or have shadow, or put like little lines outside the characters big line when they transform. Many possibilities. I like the idea. Its a pretty sweet concept in general and A whole mess of confusion as well. THe LOTR is the first one i looked at and OMG it's all over the place. Mozilla Firefox Favourite Manga not sure (havn't read too many), but if you think there is one I would like, please tell me.	I think using the characters color of their chi/ primary energy attack color would work nicely. Goku's would be Blue, Yamcha's would be more of a bluish white for wind, Krillin's yellow for Destructo Disk, Vegeta Purple for Galick Gun, and so on. since not all characters have a unique color, try and pick the main color of their clothes or something similar for the ones that don't have anything else unique about them or even just get a color chart and pick all the colors your going to use, and than just match each one with a name until your done. as for background color, it depends. you could put each word in a white box, and have all the boxes on a black background, and if it's a chart, connect the boxes with red lines. as for symbols for fusion, other forms, etc. I'd just make them either abriviated words, or make up a simplistic symbol in pain the helps people think of it, like fusion could be as simple as " -><- " or even " * " and for Super Saiyan, I'd just do "SSJ". thats pretty simple. none of the symbols really matter if you give yourself enough space, cause than you could just put the word in for the form in smaller text above or underneath the name of said character. either way, I'm sure you can figure it out.
