Goku tells Piccolo Absorbed Buu this: "You played against time and lost. You don't plan to beat me like -that-, do you?" Does that actually mean Goku could beat Buu? What the hell? This would put Janemba above Buu, and Goku above Gotenks. Surely Piccolo doesn't weaken Buu, right? Why would that happen? Is this just a plot hole? ...if it is, doesn't that mean some of the other facts we thought we've established may just be plot holes? |

I think he meant Gohan could beat him like that, because it would make no sense if he was talking about himself. |

I think his exact words were "heh. now gohan can handle you. too bad, boo." or something along those lines i dont think he ever said that he himself could win. But, Gohan in his new form could definitely handle boo with piccolo absorbed. |

I -JUST- now watched this, and replayed it four times. He said exactly what I typed. He basically said that Buu couldn't beat him in the state he was in. |

exactly. you watched it. anime isnt canon. Let me read you off the exact wording from the chapter from vol. 25. vol. 25, chapter 308, "Will the Potara Prevail?!" this is all a reading from page 232 on vol. 25, or page 10 of chapter 308, not including the title page. Gotenks Boo: RR-RRG...OH...NO...! at this point he reverts to piccolo boo Piccolo Boo: AUGH!! Gohan is holding a potara earring. Gohan: Oh...!! SSj3 Goku mocks boo. SSJ3 Goku: Ha Ha Ha!! Feeling weaker?!! The kid's fusion just wore off!! I bet piccolo's in there, slowing you down!! Goku reverts to base form. Goku: Too Bad...It's kinda disappointing...Gohan can handle you now... Piccolo boo looks really frustrated. then he grins. Piccolo Boo: hee~ ...It's fortunate I plan ahead... and at that point boo absorbs gohan, blah blah blah, thats beside the point. I am very confident goku never said he could beat super boo. |

If it's different in the manga, then it makes sense. Does anybody know where I can read the actual manga at? The anime is far too inaccurate and contradicting. |

I eventually found it, but it's in horrendous quality. It's in the Dragonball section as a whole. The manga itself was never called "Dragonball Z" I don't believe. |

How much did you pay for it? You bought the entire collection itself? I saw some sort of boxed set edition with "the series" in it. Strange though, as it only went up to around issue 26 I believe. It has Buutenks, Kid Buu, and Fat Buu on the left side of the box, and Gotenks, Gohan, and Goku on the other. |
