this game, looks SO ridiculous. i played the first one at my friends house, and it had me entertained for about an hour, just running around, killing as many people as i could, jumping off buildings, killing more people, etc...
of course, the game has a great storyline, a really creative idea, and i would love to see it placed in the renaissance era...
but im more excited to kill people in a different place and time X)

discuss this new game here.

Very productive conversation lol.

I completed it yesterday. I've got 75% of the trophies so far and Im on the second to last Assassins Tomb. I really don't like the time limit on the puzzles cuz it takes me ages to figure out how to pull them off. I spent most time just going through the story missions because i knew it'd take a lot longer to do if i did the optional ones.

Now i've finished it I really want to know which time period they go to next, and which country they choose to set it in. For me, the way they make the environments and involve people from places that were important during those eras is one of the best parts of the game. I prefer it a lot more to the future aspects that feature Desmond. I feel that the representation of Desmond is very bad graphics wise, and for the main character of the entire series that's not very good, but hopefully they'll sort that out.

It's such a great game that I want to play i all through, but no matter how long it is I feel the need to play the next installment.

I want to get this game, but now that you said you completed it in (I can only assumer) about a week... err. I'm not sure. Is it very easy, or did you just devote your time to playing it? Btw, what time and place is this game in? Is it like the Middle Ages during the Crusades in Jerusalem? Or something else?

It's a superb game. Definitely a step forward from the first one. With what they established during the first one and now this one, it really makes me wonder what they have in store for the third one.

I liked the ending, thought it was cool. Still working on completing The Truth video, can't wait till that one is done. There is so much side-stuff to do too. The only thing that sucks (for me) is that you can't go back and replay certain assassinations like you could in the first. Instead, you have to start the story over in an empty slot.

Its set in Renaissance Italy this time around and focuses the story around NPCs that have some kind of historical backstory like it did before. Ezio (the main character) is friends with Leonardo Da Vinci for example. And again, you go around doing these tasks but for a different reason than that of the first game. You'll find out about that when you get it.

Its a much different game to the first. Whereas before it was limited to the actual things you could do, they've added extra optional missions such as random Assassintion tasks, Racing thieves and Revenge beatings. However, they do not use any of the eavesdropping abilities that were used in the first game, which is what i just realised. There are pickpocketing objectives but nothing too outstanding, and aside from the random pummelling you may be asked to give to somebody, there are no actual interrogations either, which makes for a different game.

When I played, I mostly did the story missions. If you were to just play story missions the whole time, you can complete the game within 10 hours easy. If you were to do the optional missions it takes about 15 hours maybe, and if you were going to do absolutely everything, i.e. buy everything, complete every mission, get every trophy, i'd say that you'd complete it within 20 hours.

Dont let that put you off though, the game quality is superb and I really love everything about it. I think what drove me to complete it so fast was the desire to know what happened next, its by far one of the most interesting game series i've ever played and the historical content makes it even more appealing. It can only get better if the next installment is anything like as good an improvement as this game was.
