Is it possible that if people post a picture they have to put it in a spoiler box?? Particularly if it's a large one.

It's not hard to do and makes it easier at times to scroll through the threads. It's been done on other forum's i'm on and it can make it a lot easier if you have slower internet.

Spoiler: click to toggle

[EDIT] It also prevents unnecessary page stretching...

I've not seen a code to do so, there is no option in the Admin controls to do it, there might be a way to shrink an image with a code but I'm not sure about putting it in a spoiler.

To put something in a spoiler box you need to type:

[ spoiler ]
THIS IS SPOILER TEXT
[ / spoiler ]

Except minus the spaces.
It could aways be added to the bar at the top of the reply page sothat people onlly need to highlight the text and click it. I know that is easily enough done.

I never tried that code before, let's see how it works.

Spoiler: click to toggle

oh, cool! This is going to be useful!
But I didn't understand your question, you're asking for all the pictures to be posted under the spoiler feature?

I think he/she is asking for if images can either automatically be put in spoilers when posted so they don't take up a lot of space in topics or suggesting that people put their large images in spoilers so they don't take up a lot of space. Large images slow down some peoples computers so putting all the images in spoilers will speed stuff up for those people.

Yep, the second one. It wouldn't be the easiest thing in the world to have it automatically do so... I don't recall seeing a code for it, though there may be one around....

More that it is highly recommended, if not added to the rules that large pictures at least are posted in spoiler boxes, as well as any series of images. Though I don't know how much it would be used, might be easier to just let everyone know how to do it or add it to the shortcut box in the reply screen.

I know there is a way to force resizing but automatically in spoiler boxes, I'm not sure about.
