I think Trunks would make things a lot more interesting, but, Cell's techniques and regeneration simply give him the edge. Even a stronger fighter may be at a disadvantage with such techniques and skills.

Depends what level Goten is at, if you consider that during the World Martial Arts tournament while they were partially working together Goten and Trunks were able to get 18 on the back leg in their fight. By that logic if 18 was close to being able to defeat imperfect cell for a bit and Goten and Trunks while disguised as Mighty Mask were probably at a slight disadvantage over their normal skills it makes sense that individually Goten may have stood a chance (once again depending on what level he is at). However if you add Trunks in as well, we know they can both work very well as a team then I reckon they would stand a good chance at beating non perfect cell at least. And if they were pushed, with both of them being demi-saiyins they could probably have brought more out. ~Tim

Internet Explorer Favourite Manga Naruto	i think the only reason trunks and goten lost to 18 was because they were in such an awkward outfit, and they didnt know how to fuse. Together, i think it would turn out something like the goku + piccolo vs. raditz fight. they both kinda suck compare to their opponent, but together, they still suck. Fusing is completely unfair, if gotenks even looked at cell funny, cell would implode. gotenks >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> imperfect cell but...together as SSJ's, i dont think they would stand much of a chance unless they had some combination attack they could just on cell. Its very likely that they have one since they fight together so much, but it was never stated that they had one. so im gonna still say cell.

Firefox Favourite Manga One Piece	Even if somehow Goten was a little stronger Imperfect Cell, which he very likely isn't, Cell wouldn't lose to him. He's too good and has too many techniques to lose to a little kid. Goten would just get the life drained out of him. Goten would only be able to survive a few minutes against Ginger town Imperfect Cell, and if this is Cell after absorbing humans as he was when he fought #16, it's be over in seconds. He was much stronger then Piccolo (who was stronger then SSJ Vegeta/Goku) at that point. Oh right, if Trunks helped Goten, they might stand a chance against Ginger town Cell, but Cell after absorbing humans would still wreck them both. Edited by Psyam, Nov 18 2009, 10:39 PM.
