Well as we know the economy has been awful this past year and it still lingers in a depression. What are somethings (changes) you've done or had to because of the economy.

Flashy Thing!

Not spend spend my left over financial aid money on stuff like BBs or air soft guns, and i haven't gone out with friends and play around the air soft guns in a while.

I don't drive to school at all, i just take the bus
I pay more attention to what i use my money on
If i don't need it i don't get it (what ever "it" may be)

None, nothing has changed for me, infact I often forget there is a recession, only times I notice is when there are stupid deals on in the university cafe, makes eating quite cheap but really, that's not something I planned to change, infact, I've probably spent more ;)

Me? I've gotten deeper into debt then I ever wanted to before, and the fact that my job sucks doesn't help me much. So I'm going to have to take a year off from school to save up some money and start paying this crap off.

It's not our job to change because of the depression. It's our job to spend more to help get out of this depression. We are partially here because we aren't putting the money back into the system.

Exactly, people are so scared of this recession that they're constantly trying to save money and as a result business doesnt do as well. Which then leads to smaller and lesser known companies doing terribly and closing down, and the chain just keeps on going. No one is telling anyone to blow all their savings, but at the same time they have to stop being so conservative otherwise businesses don't get any financial support.

The hell? This ain't a deep discussion about the Economy. Go away Hater! lol

I don't think I've really stopped or slowed down on the spending but I have learned to save a bit more school and trying to get my own place soon. . . hopefully sooner or later.

lol. I haven't been too greatly affected by the economy. The only thing is just at work they watch my hours more closely and make sure I don't go over because of "budget" and "economy". I think part of it is just micromanaging. I probably do go out a lot less for dinner and to movies though. I also don't go shopping very often anymore.

Unfortunately, nothing. Or now that I look at Kotetsu's statement; fortunatley. I've spent so much money this year, I'm not in debt either, I just like to spend money. For myself, I didn't notice the recession.
