Saw this poem and many other versions of it. You could really go on and on. but I have yet to find the actual source of the poem or the proper title. Their are many, anyways enjoy Ladies of the mens club, I come before you to stand behind you to tell you a tale you know nothing about admission is free so pay at the door, pull up a seat to sit on the floor One fine day in the middle of the night two dead boys got up to fight Back to back they faced each other drew their swords and shot each other a deaf policeman heard the noise and came and killed those 2 dead boys If you dont believe my tale is true ask the blindman he saw it too |

Haha, that's really clever. It's such a good idea for writing songs and things. I might give it a go. |

I did English Lit in GCSE and heard some interesting poems, but never heard one like that. The only poem I remembered is this; They ask me where I've been, And what I've done and seen. But what can I reply Who know it wasn't I, But someone just like me, Who went across the sea And with my head and hands Killed men in foreign lands... Though I must bear the blame, Because he bore my name. -Wilfred Gibson |
