Some good new to lighten the week. This lay was drunk and on her way home using the metro when she stumbled and well the rest of the story is in the video so enjoy it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EURgm-ssE4c&feature=related Such a close call and I asked myself If I would've dove in but so much could have happened in the pit and it could have risked both lives so I think the people on the side did the right thing waving the operator down Here's how the operator described it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ReGcm_17sx4 |

Wow, that was a pretty close call! Those people definitely did the right thing by waving down the operator, if they had tried to rescue her it most likely would have led to an utter disaster. |

I saw this on TV. I wonder how drunk that woman was exactly. She had absolutely no control over her movements and body balance... It's quite depressing to see someone in that state. Glad this story had a happy ending. ps: What's up with this topic title, Rebel? Lmao I totally didn't think it was about this case. Edited by Strawberry, Nov 14 2009, 04:04 PM.

My biology teacher was telling me about this. This should deter people from getting drunk near train tracks |

I saw the people of the station flagging the driver down and of course the driver that was sensible enough to consider that their was something wrong to save the life of the woman. I guess in that sense I thought the title fit. Sorry I guess I could've just said "Drunk woman nearly killed" but that happens almost every night around the world. I'm surprised at the attention this news got. I mean it was only around for a couple days or so but it went all over the US but also other international news stations thought it was pretty big. I saw the Brasil and UK versions. You say you saw this too so they must've aired it in Portugal as well. @green, I do agree but better to ride the metros train than to go out and drive while drunk. |
