For example, I bet you don't answer the complete truth when somebody asks how you are. 90~% of the time you're going to say "fine" when in fact you aren't. These are only little lies that affect you more than they do the person you're lying to, which I think is fine.

Can't really think of a situation of when i would "have" to lie, but i'm sure they've happened. Do you think leaving out part of the whole truth is lying? I've heard it called a "lie of omission".
