East Kaioshin vs. Bobidi probably went down exactly like Piccolo vs. Babidi.

There are actually at least a few instances proving that Kaiosh**ts can sense, such as-

Chapter: 474 (DBZ 280), P7.8, P8.1-2
Context: after Goku transforms into a Super Saiyan 3
Gohan: “”Th-this ki…Don’t tell me…it’s father?...No…It’s not…”
Kaioshin: “Th-that’s right…It’s Son Goku…! Th-this truly is absolutely incredible energy…”
Why does the Z fighters say Ki ( never energy) while the supreme kai says energy?

Does he mean he can feel his physical energy thats being emitted?

honestly, am I the only one that thinks theres a possibility the supreme kai lacks fighting knowledge. or more over, cant actually fight at all.

It takes a mere second for treasure to turn to trash.

I think Pui Pui has this, as Kaio-shin was completely unintimidated by the idea of Freeza but was shocked to see Pui Pui.

Also, I agree with you Nanho. Kaio-shin is kind of a wimp.

He is the wimp we must all strive not to be like.

He provides good narrative, though.

Sorry , but if we can't take the quotes seriously , then how are we supposed to know who is stronger and who not? You're saying Kaioshin lies or doesn't know shet , but we have to take his quotes seriously to provide our evidences ,simple. You can't debate with someone for using a opinion which one can win or lose , if you do that , no one will take you seriously.

Still this.

Kaioshin wasn't shocked to see Pui Pui. he was only shocked to see vegeta stepping up to fight him by himself, which leads to the only possible conclusion, which is, he underestimated vegeta. he probably assumed vegeta was somewhere around his saiyan saga powerlevel or just above it.

Its really hard to say how strong pui pui even is,no one says anything about him. And the only thing that we have been said in relation to his power, is Pui Pui stating that he was born on a planet with 10x gravity and Kai saying ''dont underestimate babidi he has strong fighters'' to vegeta when he stepped up to fight PuiPui. Kai doesnt even seem to attempt sensing Pui Pui power level or ''energy''.

Kaioshin did underestimate Vegeta but he knows that Vegeta is Goku's rival, and he has already admitted inferiority to Goku.

Goku > Vegeta > Puipui > Goku (Kaioshin Expected) > Kaioshin

Agreed with Clearin.

Kaioshin says he has no chance of beating Goku at the Budokai.

He doesn't even hope that he could win.

Where is it stated he knows vegeta is gokus rival?

And when did he admit ''inferiorty'' to goku?

The fact also that he calls Babidi's minion as strong opponents , while he calls Frieza trashbag.

I think he meant base on the reputation of goku, he thought in a physical match up he wouldnt have a chance against him, and just really want to know if hes strong enough to help him. but kai seems to be one that isnt about physical strengh or ki. I remember a quote in the manga of vegeta stating ''he hasnt been able to sense that guy (Kai) fighting strength"'
so he was probably talking about a physical match at the tournament, well thats my guess at least.

But still how does he know vegeta is his rival?
