How often do you dream. I have a sleep disorder where I have repetitive dreams and very vivid but visual dreams. I once was in the hospital , because I had to be hooked up to all these machines and tested in my sleep and they monitored my brain waves while I was sleeping and looked at reactions. I'll be on medication for it, for life. I personally, dream frequently. Lately though, my dreams have been messed. Anyone have any messed up dreams they'd like to share? |

I dream all the time but I tend not to remember them for some reason. However I do remember one I had a while back that scared the living daylights out of me. I was in the basement of my friend's house along with him and his sister, we sat huddled around a birthday cake that read "May you rest in peace *****." (I'm not going to disclose the name out of respect for the person). The next day when I was hanging out with my friend he told me that a friend of his sister had just committed suicide the night before, the person who's name was on the cake. Needless to say I was freaked out.... I've never had a similar experience though. Edited by SlyStrife, Oct 29 2009, 01:42 PM.

I dream almost every night. It's a mix whether I remember them or not. Sometimes I remember them for the first few minutes after I've woken up but then I lose what it was about. Other times they stick with me as clear as a memory. I can still remember completely a dream I had when I was around 8 which consisted of me, some people from my primary school that weren't really friends, just people I knew and some random dream characters being extremely tiny in a massive house and being chased by a big rhino. I really enjoy a lot of my dreams. Some of them can be like movies if that makes sense. They can be quite messed up (not in the sick and twisted sense, in the 'this makes no sense at all' sense). I don't really get nightmares though, well I don't think I've ever had one. |

Like Mitas i tend to dream a lot, sometimes i remember them other times i dont. I have plenty of messed up dreams. Im often fighting someone or something and often their is a sense of panic or terror or helplessness. I have good dreams too but these are more spread out. I had a bizarre but simple dream. I was looking running down the flight of stairs leading from my flat (i live on first floor). I could hear someone shouting and screaming in pure rage from inside. Just this noise, shouting of hatred and anger, throwing things about (loads of heavy banging and door slamming) I look up towards MY flat and realise it is my OWN voice. Im looking at the window of my flat from outside and its ME im hearing shouting in rage; im in two separate places. For some reason this terrified me when i woke up. Plenty of other dreams that ive had that are messed up, this one came to mind cause it was rather wierd and random. |

I tend to always dream about buildings, being in buildings and something about houses and buildings. I rarely have dreams where I am falling or based on where I die in some disaster, and I'm glad it's rare because they always wake me up regardless. |

No matter how hard I try, I always forget my best dreams. I wake up in the middle of the night and can't remember it the next morning. I have a lot of dreams about floods, kidnappings, flying, car crashes, and falling from high places. I'm almost always running away from something (or trying to stop something), but I can't move fast enough. The scariest dream I can remember is one I had when I was 7 or 8. I had been watching something on the news about a serial killer and they showed a sketch of what he might look like. I must have been half asleep that night, because I saw him standing next to me. I shut my eyes, opened them, and he wasn't there. I think it might have been sleep paralysis. The strangest dream I ever had involved Mario and Luigi pushing me off a flying boat... :< |

Here's a question I wanna know the answer to: Do you dream in 1st person view or 3rd person? Mine favour mostly towards 3rd person but I do get a few in 1st. |

The majority of mine are in 3rd person, but I have had one that was 1st person. I remember because it was the only one I've ever had like that. It was right after I turned off Persona 1 after playing it for the first time; I was walking around in a dungeon mapping out every step as I walked. There was just no random encounters or anything like that, I even remember going into an RPG-like menu. ![]() I wish I would dream about more things like that, because then I'd be able to remember them. I had a dream once like I was on some kind of jungle in a mining cart going really fast on tracks then I just come to a cliff and shoot right off flling to the ground. I always woke up before I hit the bottom in a cold sweat breathing really hard. |

Last weekend I had a dream I was in the DBZ universe and I was on Namek fighting Captain Ginyu lol I was with all the characters and I was flying it was so weird yet so cool I want to have a dream like that again. I do dream every night and once in a while I have dreams of certain events that happen in the future like deja view. All of my dreams are in 1st person view I don't really remember if I had a 3rd person view dream I think I used to have them when I was little. |

Has anybody heard of lucid dreaming? Or had one? It's basically where you are awake in you dream and can control what happens and literally do anything. There are people who train themselves in it. I would love to have one, it would be amazing. There are literally no limits to what you can do. |

Wow, I've never heard of that, sounds like it could be fun that ever happened to you. I now have a new goal when I go to sleep tonight. |
