What ever happened to Launch and Opa? They were in the Dragonball series but right when DBZ started they never show Opa and Lanuch which is weird because Goku is friends with Opa and he goes to Korin's quite often, so where is Opa? And whatever happened to the love affair between Lanuch and Tien. She liked him and he liked her, now shes not even in it. Whats even more weird is that in Dragonball Kai, they acknowledge Lanuch in the end of Kai, but they don't add her to the show. |

You actually see Opa in the end of Dragon BAll Z when they are gathering energy for the spirit bomb to destroy Kid buu. As for Launch, I regret that she just left and never came back she could have proved to be a very interesting character.

I think I remember having a topic about Launch. It's assumed that launch went along to be with Tien because of the clear affection that Launch had for him. It probably led to some sort of relationship. I really liked Launch in DB, she was all around awesome. As for Opa or Upa we see them in Dragonball but he's also in DBZ as DBZLover4ever stated. He is also in DBGT episode in the Baby Saga. They still live down there and protect the tower but they just never see Goku much more. I mean they do just fly straight to Kami's lookout and sometimes they stop by Korin's. If they do ever see Upa it must be just a quick hello. |

Upa (and Snow) appeared at the end of the Buu Saga. Lunch was there too, but only in the anime version.  Toriyama admitted that he simply forgot about Lunch when he wrote Z. I think the Lunch/Ten relationship was also "anime-only," but it was one of the few changes that I really liked. They mentioned that they were trying to make Kai "closer to the manga" (no filler), so that's probably why she isn't there. They were just being "creative" with the openings(that and I think they want to remind us that she still exists) I was also disappointed that Lunch/Ten didn't go anywhere. I wish the animators would've left us with some hints that they were still together(or at least still friends). Edited by x_bura_x, Oct 28 2009, 02:36 AM.

Britt. they were still together. As fans you and i know it. Its just a feeling ya gotta have lol. Tien can't hide his love for Launch either. |

in DBZ vol.1 chapter 1, i believe, bulma goes to kame sennin's house. He says "where's launch" or somethin, someone asks about her. Someone replies that she went to chase after tien. so apparently she liked him a lot what if she secretly got pregnant?!?!?!?!?!? WAAHT? |
