From everybody on this forum, everybody who's come and gone, the one I've always liked most was you. It goes without saying how great friends we are. I've even said that it's gotten to the point where it sometimes feels like we're actually sitting on a couch and talking to eachother. Over these past two, maybe 3, years, few people have impacted my life as much as you have. I'd never have worked up the courage to put songs on YouTube if not for people like you. And if I've ever needed help or advice, you've always been one of the first people to talk to. I don't know how memorable this will be, I hope it will be to you as yours was to me - something I'll never forget. We share so many common interests it's astounding. And, despite our age difference, you've always treated me as an adult and maturely. I don't know if I've ever been there for you when you needed somebody to talk to, but you've always been there for me and I don't think I ever said thanks, so I'll do it now; Thank you, Kris. I've always wanted to be like you, and the way you are and the air you have around you (and even through a computer screen, I can tell it's there). I doubt I'd be nearly as influenced by anything if it wasn't for you. You've always supported me, and always there to say "Yeah Mike, you can do it!" and one day, when we've both finished doing whatever it is that we want in life, I know we'll find eachother, make-up half of our faces and see the world! Ever since I was a kid, I've been shy around people. A lack of confidence in myself and in everything I do held me back (and it still does today), and conversations would come slowly and I'd put up a shield of weirdness to keep people away but all conversations with you just flow. You know what I mean, it all comes naturally, things like Juice and "4 and 9, 49" come out of thin air and I end up spending hours laughing or with a huge grin on my face that leaves my cheeks sore. I still remember the Sunrise night, I'm sure I always will. I think 10 years from now I'll look back with a smile at that night, as I will with all our conversations. I know that over the years, however many there've been, that we'vee had our fights and quarrels. But I've never expressed how genuinly happy I was when we sorted it out, knowing that things were fine again and we're both mature enough to just forget about it and carry on with everything that's fun. I'd love to just sit down one day and jam with you. It's impossibe to say how amazing that would be; to play alongside somebody who is every bit as into music as I am, enough to feel it in their soul.
