Internet Explorer Favourite Manga DBZ	Saw this on tv this morning. Do all religions deserve an equal status in society? Is it right that it's ok to take the mick out of one religion that isn't as major yet you can get fired from your job for doing the same thing to a bigger religion? Is it right that some religion are allowed to break laws e.g. store laws on hoods? An example given on the show was a 'Jedi Knight' told to remove his hood, even once he had explained it was his religion, yet a woman in a Burka a few places behind him in the que wasn't even questioned? And why are some religions allowed to have 'religious holidays' and requests from smaller religions would be laughed away?

Because what is right for one religion or society, may not be correct for another. And in their eyes, that's atrocious. That's all I'm going to say about that for now.

Some are rip offs of other religions. Islam and Jehova's Witness for example are direct rip offs of the Christian faith. How un-original. The Christian faith is a succsesor to the Jewish faith. If Jehova's Witnesses are rip-offs of Christianity then Christianity is a rip-off of Judaism. But they're not 'rip-offs', just different interpretations of the same stories. I remember reading somewhere or being told that almost all religions can be traced back to one story, something about two brothers. Although that was a while back now so don't know if I remember correctly, correct me if I'm wrong.

All if not most of the christian new testament looks vaguely familiar to those who know the history of ancient Egypt's religion. In fact I'm going to say that most the stories were pulled from it.

Like I said, in the Old Testament the Jews faithfully awaited a Messiah. He came, his name was Jesus Christ. Right? According the the New Testament. Well the Old and New Testaments are, as you know what divides the 2 Abrahamic faiths. Now, how could Christianity be a ripoff? Judaism claims they awaited a Messiah, he came, they ignored him and called him a liar and murdered him! Now they're still awaiting a Messiah. What Judaism anticipated (and still are anticipating) already happened, just as they anticipated in the books. So how could that be a rip off. It happened just as they said it would!!! Now Islam for example, out of nowhere in the year c.600AD an Arab by the name of Mohhamed, completley un provoked comes out of no where and says he is a messanger of God. The rest is history. That's what I call a rip off. Same can be said for the Jehova faith, or the Mormon faith. (Sorry Temphis, I don't mean to insult you, but that's kinda what I believe in )

Correct me if I'm wrong, in which case you probably won't. Later on your base religion comes to be called Roman Catholic, meaning originating in Rome, Italy. So to be honest, the history of the country you have blood in, and have a religion of, killed Jesus Christ. Yet you not only pray to Jesus as a Catholic, you also pray to his mother. How convenient.

I remember reading that the Roman governor at the time (Pontius Pilate) found no guilt in Jesus, and could have even released Jesus Christ after just whipping him and crowning him with thorns. I don't know, you tell me. lol All signs of Jesus being real point to a big wooden cross, (thats never been found), set upon a geographical cave, (with no stone door), drinking from a cup, (that doesn't exist), ascending in to heaven, (witnessed by a few people), walking around with holes in his hands and feet and chest, (bleeding profusely). So more than likely I'd believe he was stoned to death before I believed all that garbage. Status wise, do you think your religion is anymore right than the older religion Judaism? I constantly ask this question because no one seems to have an answer for it. In fact some say Judaism is wrong. And I'd like to point out, WHAT exactly makes it wrong?

Point is, none of you agree with you, so who is more right?
