Yes Bordeaux are better than Inter in my opinion and have a better chance of winning the Champions League. Chelsea are not the best team in England rght now, they are behind both Manchester United and Arsenal. I personally believe Arsenal are the best team in England right now; they play the best football and they're finally starting to win ames when they don't play brilliantly. Inter will not beat either Arsenal or Man U. |

Yeah, consider Arsenal played 2 games more games than Chelsea, therefore they have 3 more points. Tommorow Chelsea is playing low league Blackburn tomorow. Only reason as to why I am not giving the benefit of the doubt to Chelsea just because 8 of Blackburn's 9 wins came at home. I can't believe Bordeaux is better on paper than Inter. I don't like Inter's choice of players, although they have a handful of the best players in the world. Who does Bordeaux have? Gourcoff? Edited by Mc Esse, Mar 20 2010, 09:17 PM.

Yeah it's extremely tight at the top of the league with hardly anything seperating all three teams. I think Arsenal will win the league, Man U second and Chelsea third and that is the order I think they are in in terms of quality and form at present. Bordeaux have Gourcuff who is world class, Chamakh who is very good and Alou Diarra is good too. However most importantly they have Laurent Blanc who is one of the best managers around currently, probably the best along with Guardiola at Barca. Blanc has created a team that is more than just individuals; there is a chemistry and togetherness that lifts them higher han they should be, which is why they are better thn Inter. Inter aren't really a team, just a bunch of individuals, which can only take you so far. |

Yeah but ahhhh they have a man named Jose Mourinho who is one of the most charismatic managers out there and can get his already powerful team together to perform at any given day. btw I was going to make a topic about this, but instead of wasting space I'll just go off topic here since we're consitent on this page. I'm sick and tired of people overhyping la liga. I used to be one of those people, I'd look at Barca and Real and claim an assumption. Yet, as good as La Liga is, I wouldn't put it ahead of The Premiership or even Serie A and Bundesliga. Real Madrid, 6 years of not making it past the round of 16. 6 years man! and people were saying Serie A was a crap league by saying Milan hasn' won a title since 2007! Sevilla gets knocked out by a decent CSKA squad, this year The last time 2 spanish teams were simutaneously in the quarter finals round was in 2006. Really, the only proven elite team they have is Barcelona. The rest can be at the 2nd tier of Euro football making their cities proud by excelling in the Europa League. Results Inter 2 - CSKA 0 Lyon 3 - Bordeaux 2 Bayern 4 - Man U 4 Barcelona 6 - Arsenal 3 Semi Finals Barcelona vs Inter Bayern vs Lyon Wow no English teams left, I'm surprised. Barcelona vs Bayern for the finals I say. Inter has not made the finals since the 70's, Barcelona won't help them break that curse. Bayern is more talented than Lyon, and have had a great team experience, just as good as Lyon's. Prediction Bayern vs Barcelona in the finals. |

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that Inter will beat Barcelona, teams like Inter and Chelsea I think can stop Barca playing their normal football and can be physically imposing. I think Bayern and Inter in the final. |

You're right, take some credit away frim Barca. They've had some stumbles earlier this season, loosing to Rubin Kazan, and during their last game with Arsenal... that was Messi doing all the work! If there's any team in the world that could trap Messi in the neutral zone, it would be Inter! Granted, Inter have not scored a goal vs. Barcelona in two games this season, they've also had a sub-par group stage. Btw, Chelsea's back on top of the EPL. comments? Well Light got it right; Inter and Bayern in the final. Mourinho got it tactically spot on in both legs and knew exactly how to play Barcelona. Their counter-attacking play destroyed Barca in the first leg and they did extremely well defensively in the second leg, only emphasised by the fact they had 10 men for over an hour of play. The one thing I will say is that Barcelona's celebrated style ended up being their downfall. They were too content to knock the ball around the edge of the box and failed to play any killer balls. When they got crosses in to the box, there were never enough players in position as they were all hanging on the edge of the box. The final will be good and Inter have a great chance to get the European success they've been after for so long. It looks as if Bayern will be without Ribery (although I heard they're appealing the suspension so he may play) and that will cut their chances considerably. However they do have a good team and I still don't think you can write them off, even without Ribery. However my pick is Inter Milan to win and all credit will have to go to Mourinho who will have to go down as one of the greatest managers if he wins. Also I have to admit that I completely over-hyped Bordeaux :P I thought they would be a lot better than they were. |

To be fair Bordeaux were unlucky not to go through, Lyon withstood a barrage in the second leg. Mourinho is a real prick but there are few managers as good as him, I laughed my ***** off when he ran onto the pitch, knows how to stir things up. Edit: Fair play to Fulham, what a European campaign they've had. Fulham = Europa Bayern = Champions league. Inter must be favourites, defensively they're impeccable, a lot of people complain about it being boring but I actually like watching them. However I think Bayern will win. I don't know whether it's been decided yet, but I can't see them going back on the decision. |

Here's what I think. Mourinho crushed barça and he's not gona crush Bayern ? LOL Inter already won champions league they beat the best team in the world, Barcelona. bayern beat what? fiorentina lyon man utd ? inter beated barça and chelsea, the two best teams in Europe. Sneijder, Eto, Milito, Balotelli, Motta will crush Bayern. They've earned my respect this season by proving they are not part of Serie A corruption, hopefully it won't go into vain. |

I completely agree. Mourinho has been almost perfect tactically in the knockout stages of the Champions League. However the one thing that I think gives Bayern a bit of hope is that there'll be so much pressure on Inter to win and Bayern can just g out there and play without expectations of them, which is only further enhanced by the fact Ribery will most likely not be playing. However if Bayern do win it will be a massive upset. |

Inter won the Champions League and Serie A for the fifth year in a row. I didn't see the game though. They beat Bayern Munich 2-0, 2 goals from Milito. |

I thought it was quite a good game. Bayern Munich weren't offensive enough in my opinion which allowed Inter to seize the ball and get goals. Bayern's defence was rubbish too which is probably the main reason Milito was able to score so easily. I think the first goal only took three passes if I recall. One from the Goal Keeper to some guy, then to Milito and into the net. Bayern did have some close ones though. However, Inter's defence for the most part was superb. Overall, Inter deserved to win, they were the better team. |
