Posts: 203 Group: Member Member #4,195 Joined: May 15, 2009 Favourite Anime dragonball, dragonball z	theres a few things that dont make much sense, like it seems like it's at the end of dbz with videl being there and knowing about the dragonballs, so at that time goku was alive, thanks to the old kai, so why would he be dead? and if it was at that time why did'nt goten and trunks perform fusion against broly? and also why the hell was krillin dressed as piccollo? lol. the only picture i could find. Posts: 471 Group: Member Member #3,821 Joined: November 24, 2008	Ive not seen this movie fully (read about it and watched little clips on Youtube) but it seems to occur before/ during the beginning of the World Tournament, before the Buu saga. So Fusion Dance has not been learned. Videl knows Gohan, about the DragonBalls and Goten and Trunks reveal they are Super Saiyans and no one is surprised. Actually this is daft as she only sees the DragonBalls in action for the first time after they are used to wish back the people Majin Vegeta kills at the Tournament (she is really surprised by ShenLong). And it takes the Balls a year to restore (plus they grant 2 wishes at this point in the series, Gohan only meets Videl a few weeks/ days before the Tournament). Goku is dead and in the OtherWorld but is able to appear alongside his sons for a few moments with the help of the DragonBalls (Goten says 'I wish dad was here', DragonBalls flicker and grants this small favour) before he returns back to the afterlife after they have defeated Broly. It is a badly done movie (most of them are) and doesnt even keep in continuity with its own series. Broly surviving the last encounter with only a wounded chest, a little red burn mark? Bull Doesnt Videl actually take on Broly for a little bit too? She would get annihilated but she survives with only a little bruising and being Ko'd? Bull These films are not well thought out.

Google Favourite Manga Dragon Ball	@BattleMetal:If you remember the beginning of the movie,you see Broly with major bleeding all over himself,and he healed the majority of said injuries over the 7 year period he was frozen (Saiyans heal much faster than humans,duh)

He gets blown to pieces, you see him explode from the inside out in a flash of green light. BUT for arguement sake we will say that Gokus attack didnt kill him outright and all Broly sustained was a chest wound that heals over a period of time. Dont recall at any point that a Saiyan heals faster than a human, i know they are much more durable and can take a lot of punishment. Also their power level increases after they are survive and fully heal from a near death experience. Healing faster, i cant think of any situation where this is clearly shown, but they are tough as hell as displayed by both Goku and Vegeta. But maybe Broly is special cause he is the Legendary Super Saiyan, maybe he gets some added percs. Meh i thought he was a wasted character, its shame we didnt get to see him do more.
