DBZGT is over and that's it. There were some new manga spin offs and video games but we won't see another DB related anime for a looong time. You never know, one day Akira T is going to pass away, other people may get a hold of the DB royalties and we might see another DB series. But we'll be grandparents in that time, probably .

Was that really necessary? Anyway, the manga ends with DBZ, and the animé with DBGT. If you haven't seen them already, there are 13 DBZ movies, one DBGT movie, and the new DBZ special (Yo! Son Goku and Friends Return).

Path to Power is a sort of retelling of early Dragonball. Think of it as the Pilaf saga (without Pilaf) and the Red Ribbon saga rolled into one movie, but with some major changes to the plot. It is quite a good movie (one of my faveorites) because there are enough changes to make it original but still familiar enough to be loyal to the original series. And the ending is very emotional and climactic, especially considering it's based on the light-hearted Dragonball. (I don't want to spoil too much, but a character who never died in the series dies near the end and nearly sends Goku into ssj!) Needless to say it is not canon in the least, just think of it as an alternate reality Dragonball.

Chrome Favourite Manga Naruto	I keep seeing conflicting info regarding AT's involvement in GT, I read somewhere that he said that he was shocked to learn they had made Goku a child again when he saw the 1st episode(indicating he had nothing to do with it) and then other places I see people saying he was involved, though I am fairly certain I read the part about him not knowing on a site that transcribed an interview with AT but i may be wrong. SO which is it?

It could be a completely different approach to, and DBZ fans would be happy cause it's more dragon ball, and other people who didn't like it for being over the top could be happy if maybe some of it was made more congruent and the ridiculous action scenes were made more fluent so it seemed like super powered people were actually fighting, rather than just teleporting around all over the place while Krillin keeps sweating and gasping for air lol. give it to the writers of Ghost in The Shell and Ergo Proxy, and we'd get some awesome character development and story like weve never seen before, and then give it to the animators of stuff like the people that do Naruto Movies and Gurren Laggen, and we'd get the most insanely awesome action scenes ever!
