And the converter doubled as a game shark unit. This along with Final Bout, and Dragon Ball Z: The Legend, were the 3 imports I bought when I first got into DBZ. Good call on this topic. The greatest fans have played these older games, and it shows. Quote: Ultimate Battle 22 was the subject of an overwhelming number of negative American reviews. GameSpot give it a 1.2/10, calling it a "really, really terrible game." X-Play said it was "a waste of time and money." Official PlayStation Magazine gave it a 1/5, the second lowest score possible. Electronic Gaming Monthly said that "someone crapped in a jewel case and passed it off as a game." Overall, it has a 32% on Game Rankings. Character list. Firefox	Heh, I have both Ultimate Battle 22 and Final Bout in my room somewhere. I used to think they were amazing when I was a kid. I love the intros on Final Bout and UB22, they totally own the Tenkaichi ones. The first Tenkaichi opening was good, but I prefer proper anime ones. The 3d thing just doesn't work as well. Internet Explorer Favourite Manga Naruto	if you look on the UB22 intro, the bonus intro that is, ... at :23, it shows goku and vegeta fusing, and their ears touch and the earings light up.. and they turn into gogeta? lol fail? i never played "legends" but the gameplay looks really cool. even if everyone rips on it.l Edited by Super Goku, Sep 1 2009, 08:21 PM.

Posts: 469 Group: Member Member #3,821 Joined: November 24, 2008	I have this game. Yip it was really bad, slow awkward movements, played like Street Fighter 2 but much worse. I really liked it though because it was still cool to play as the Z warriors and their enemies. Thught it was a novelty when the characters would 'fly', heck it was like a floating jump. Funny. Thing that i liked most was the music for Vegeta, was the best thing about the whole game. Love it as well when Vegeta would shout in the japanese voice 'Big-Banged Attack' (thats how it sounded to me anyway). Intro was pretty good as well.

If they had taken some effort to do English language voices and not cut out the tiny bits they did, I'd still play it for nostalgic reasons. But since they didn't, its trapped. In HFIL.
