Pertaining to anything, any form of media or a lifestyle and culture. Regardless of the dictionary, what defines a classic for you? For example, what makes the Chrysler New Yorker a classic? Classic rock, 1960's-70's. Classic Techno is from the 90's.

Wut???

Something that is remembered for what it is, not what it does, means or says.

Classic is arbitrary, because it's based on opinion. What is classic for some, isn't classic for others. I wouldn't consider any techno classic. But i'd consider most of it good.
Classic Rock is a genre, but it isn't necessarily classic because it's not the firsts. Elvis is more classic rock than AC/DC.
Classical music is just that. Music that has been established as canon of music styles from different eras. Stravinsky, Beethoven, Handel...

A 'Classic' is something that defines whatever it is related to or categorised under. A 'Classic' song by an artist is usually one of their first hits, or a song that sums up everything they're about. A 'Classic' band is one that defines the era or genre they are from. But like Kotetsu said, it is really down to your own opinion.

"Next time?"
"Course. Doing better next time. That's what life is."
