Firefox	In hindsight, the simulation is like trying to say Sprite is better than Pepsi. They're both soft drinks, but it would be far more accurate to claim Sprite was better than Mountain Dew or Lemonade rather than Coke or Pepsi, as it's an entirely different flavour. Ninja's are masters of assassination, and there isn't anything likely to happen in hand to hand combat that will give a ninja what effectively is an "insta-kill". Especially against a warrior that is trained to fight in a hand to hand fight. Spartans are not assassins, they're soldiers. Ninjas are not soldiers, they are assassins. Pepsi is a Cola, Sprite is lemony lime flavoured. They're too different to be pitted in a one on one because the outcome is always going to be "unfair".

Yet most of the literature I read is either non-fictional or based on a true story. I never ever read anything about ninjas though, which is why I kindly asked if anybody can proof an actual mission or battle that a ninja (clan) won. There were dozens of pages in many history books which I bought for my enjoyment which described Spartans, and their succeses. I never read anything about ninjas. I'm not surprised though. Western Civ. books tend to neglect history from the far east such as China and Japan.. [sarcasm]which is where ninjas live right[/sarcasm]?

Firefox	Well here is a page that has a lot of info about ninjas, and what the actually did. it is a lot, so look under the Iga and Koga Ninja part, its says what they do, and says where they are referenced at. ninja info You can't actually believe that ninjas were not real, do you? Just because its not in all of american history. Thats like china saying that cowboys arn't real, just because they don't have any in china.

I don't think that's what Mc Esse maens, he's just wanting some facts of ninja triumphs as they aren't as well documented as Spartan victories in the text he reads. Which is fair enough. I too know very little about nnjas, beyond the general assassin conception.

Firefox	In the page that i posted, it said that is basically all they were. There missions most of the time, where to sneak into castles at night, and kill off kings. So basically there were ment for assassination only. There wouldn't be a lot of evidence left behind, at least not if they were as good as they should be. They are like our black ops, they go in undetected and if it goes as planned, then they get out undetected. However they are much better than black ops, because only 1 had to be sent in to do the work.
