Anyone else read this? It's a pretty awesome manga. It has the same sort of art-style as Naruto, as it was the Naruto Mangaka's little bro that drew it, and they were inspired by the same things apparently. I just finished reading it, woe on me. The ending was awesome, but I really, really want to find out what happened to everyone. That's my plan backfiring on me, I guess (I was only wanting to read Bleach, but a friend recommended that I read finished manga's that appeal to me as well, so I can read manga at my leisure. Not a bad plan, the crucial flaw i that they have ended lol). |

I loved it, its one of my favs, it was a bit naff that the time skip was so short though. Its also called O-Parts Hunter. |

Yeah, the time-skip was a bit short... *spoilers* I'm one of those guys that likes endings to be wrapped up tighter than a christmas present, explaining what happened to everyone and everything lol. But unfortunately the ending wasn't like that, all we know is that Ball and Mei get married and have kids. Dunno what happened to Kirin, which sucked because he was probably one of my favourite manga characters. We don't even know if Jio and the rest that went away on Shin are alive, which is bugging the hell out of me. This is one of those few pieces of fiction where I think the protagonists are as cool as the antagonists, I normally think the villains are way cooler, but in this case Jio, Ball and the rest of them are pretty kick-ass, as are Kujaku and the rest. |

This manga is cool, even if it looks to me like a rip off of Dragon Ball and Naruto. There are a lot of similar drawings, countenances and stuff. Check this out:  Also, Jio has a big dream in the beginning of the story (to conquer the world), like Naruto used to have his own (he wanted to become the fifth Hokage). |

I dont think its anything like DBZ, also it is similar to Naruto because the author of O-Parts is Kishimoto's younger Brother. |

It's not a favorite of mine, but it's an entertaining reading and it gets really interesting after Spoiler: click to toggle It's heavily influenced by Dragon Ball, but I don't find it derivative at all. Edited by pilaf, Sep 14 2009, 11:58 PM.
