So I came up with a DBZ movie idea just yesterday and I've decided to discuss it with you guys. The movie, called The Reign of Frost, takes place four-five years after Cell's defeat. Goku is still dead (meaning he doesn't come back to Earth) and Future Trunks has returned to his timeline. Gohan is still protector of the Earth, but this is where he starts to slowly decline in power as he stops training. Vegeta, on the other hand, continues to train and hopes to become stronger than ever. Now you're probably wondering who the main villain of this movie is going to be. I was thinking about introducing the last member of Frieza's royal family, his mother. Her name's Queen Frost and she's the mother of Frieza and Cooler as well as the wife of King Cold. Like the rest of her family, she is evil to the core, but she is more cunning and powerful than the other three plus she's not as cocky. She is able to sense power levels, an ability that the rest of her family lacks. Basically, this is how she learns about the death of her family during the Trunks Saga (assuming Cooler arrived sometime around the Trunks Saga). Since she's not rash, Frost decides to take her time and trains extensively (this is what she's doing during the Android and Cell Sagas). She also knows about the legendary Dragon Balls and kidnaps a renowned Namekian to create Dragon Balls for her. Once the Dragon Balls are finally created and the dragon (not Shenron or Porunga, but a new one) is summoned, she wishes two things: eternal beauty/youth and more power. With this newfound power, she is able to go past the limits of her race. Normally, she's in her regular or fourth form (Frieza's final form and Cooler's base form), but she is able to transform into her fifth form like Cooler. But with her second wish, she unlocks a sixth form! Powerwise (and this is still being confirmed by me) with the wishes, her fourth form is the equivalent of Cell's first form, her fifth is the equivalent of a Full Powered SSJ, and her sixth is on par with LSSJ Broly. In addition, she'll have an army of henchmen (including two Changelings who are her elite guards) to accompany her. So with her army, Queen Frost invades Earth. Strangely, her motive isn't to avenge her family's death, but to wipe out the SSJ threat. And so, like most typical DBZ movies, there's a huge battle and the climatic one will be fought between Gohan, Vegeta, and Frost. Before battling, Frost immediately transforms into her fifth form and does battle with a SSJ2 Gohan and SSJ Vegeta. She's eventually overwhelmed by the pair and so transforms into her sixth form and dominates both of them, knocking out SSJ2 Gohan in just thirty seconds. Piccolo arrives and rescues Gohan from getting killed by Frost. He briefly battles Frost, but is quickly outmatched and defeated. After defeating Piccolo, Frost walks up to Vegeta and continually taunts him. When Vegeta looks into her eyes, he is reminded of Frieza killing King Vegeta and becomes so enraged that he transforms into SSJ2. SSJ2 Vegeta then proceeds to thrash Frost and in the final moments of the battle, Frost launches a massive Supernova that clashes with Vegeta's Big Bang, creating an immense explosion in the air that apparently destroys Frost. When the battle seems over, Frost suddenly rushes down towards the Earth in the form of a colossal Nova Strike (called a Galactic Strike) that has the potential to blow up the solar system. Vegeta counters with a Final Flash and clashes with Frost for forty seconds before his beam overwhelms and destroys her. Anyways, I like this movie idea because it focuses more on Vegeta rather than Goku, thus it deviates from the classical DBZ movie formula. And since this takes place four years after Cell Saga, it explains how Gohan, even in SSJ2, began to decline in power as he stopped training while Vegeta finally rises in power and transforms to SSJ2 for the first time (it's never explained in the anime when Vegeta exactly turns into SSJ2 so I thought this scenario would be a good explanation). And this movie will also introduce the final member of Frieza's family as his mother is hardly mentioned in the anime. Not to mention, being a fan of the Changelings (that is, Frieza's race), I wanted to create the most powerful one (:P). Lastly, if you guys are wondering why Goku's not in this, I planned on making him appear in a cameo entrance right after the battle where he engages in a short conversation with Vegeta. Vegeta boasts to him about how he obtained SSJ2, but then Goku humorously responds that he already achieved the transformation and demonstrates in front of a shocked Vegeta. Afterwards, Goku goes back to the Other World. So what do you guys think? Thoughts, questions, comments? |

The idea of the Queen's name is something I too thought about. But the rest of the idea is nice to see; it's original. Pretty cool. |

I like your idea. It's completely original and cool. I always thought that they could have explored more on the Changelings and make them more powerful. I also like the fact that Vegeta is the hero instead of Goku or Gohan (now that I think about it, Vegeta has never been a hero. Well, I guess it's about time!  )

The male doesn't always have to be the dominant sex for all species/races. But the main reason why I have a female Changeling is cause the mother was never introduced at all (although Frieza inferred that he did have two parents). Plus, if I made her the same power level or weaker than Frieza, King Cold, and/or Cooler, then she wouldn't be much of a match for the Z fighters, now would she? |

Thanks. In my opinion, King Cold was ruined in the anime/manga. He could've been so much more powerful than his sons and maybe appear right after Cell Saga. To me, he's probably the most disappointing villain ever. Thanks a lot Akira.

I would of enjoyed seeing more King Cold in the series, no doubt, I liked his appearance and attitude. Other than he tried to convince FT to his side and FT brutalized his *****. Heh

I always had that feeling that Cold was only in his first or second transformation, but then again if he could transform into something stronger, he would've done so against FT. Nevertheless, that's why I came up with Queen Frost and this movie idea, to avenge the Cold family! Once I get her appearances and powers/abilities down, I'll post them here. |

I plan on having a humorous scene at the end when Queen Frost goes to hell and takes her anger out on her family.  And I actually do a lot of RPing and some fan fic writing myself so I could write this. |

I love this idea. It would complete the family, and I'd like to see a female Changeling. I thought the Changelings could have been done so much better. They should of had the power to rival the Super Saiyans, like two opposing super races. And yeah, King Cold was a big dissapointment. |
