IE Favourite Manga None	I always hear things about Superman VS Goku, Ive even seen it discussed some on this forum. Why do people use Goku, if I was going to choose a character to represent the Dragonball series, it would be Super Vegeto!! People seem capable of making arguements for either side to win in Superman VS Goku, I wonder if people who know who Vegeto is, could justifiably make an arguement for Superman beating Vegeto. Even with Supermans speed, I still doubt he would lay a hand on Super Vegeto. While Im thinking of it also, given Buuhan's regenerative capability, how would Superman fare against Buuhan? How could Superman beat something that absorbs physical damage like a spounge and that could turn him to candy or just plain absorb him?

Internet Explorer Favourite Manga Naruto	ive always thought that goku would win, because he has such an infinite level of energy that goes to SSJ4, he could probably killl superman. superman HAS NO CHI BLASTS. goku could do a warp kamehameha and then give him a few combos superman speed doesnt matter cuz the strongest characters know instant transmission anyways. vegeto would be overkill IMO. buuhan would be extremely strong seeing as he really IS a sponge. good luck superman ahahahahaha Edited by Super Goku, Aug 10 2009, 12:54 AM.

The key difference between the two is that Goku spent nearly his entire life training. Even if Superman had the edge in brute strength, Goku would undoubtedly be the better fighter.

Anyway, I would say that if Goku turned Super Saiyan, you would get a dead Superman.

Firefox Favourite Manga Dragonball Z	Superman's abilities: Superhuman strength, speed, stamina, durability, senses, intelligence, regeneration, and longevity; super breath, heat vision, x-ray vision and flight DBZ fighters like Tien and Krillin have most of these abilities above. The only new things that Superman brings to the table are his incredible strength, heat vision, and x-ray vision which when you think about it aren't really all that impressive. Even if Supes is a little stronger than Goku, strength isn't everything. In terms of power level, speed, stamina, endurance, and most importantly, skill, Goku dominates. Goku can take this Kaioken form. SSJ is overkill. And don't get me started on SS Vegito or Ultimate Buu.

I know they are not but lets make them to make it a more levelled fight. Superman has no training, his only experience has been in overpowering his foe with sheer power, Goku on the the other hand has fought as a mortal, battling from the weakest levels right upto to heights of godhood. Goku is a trained martial artist with considerable levels of technical defense and many forms of attack. Superman is just a brawler, if he ever fought a being of his strength and could fight like Goku he would lose. Both men will not quit, they will fight till the very end (only time Goku forfeighted was against Cell but this was because he believed that there was hope with Gohan). Both are willing to push through huge levels of pain and endurance. Goku has proved this countless times in battles with Piccolo (Junior and Daimo), Vegeta, Frieza and Buu. Superman never quit against the monster Doomsday despite the fact that for the first time in his life he was being badly, hurt and was being overpowered. He did not quit and fought to the very end. Superman against Buu, Supes would be lost cause he relies on his fists in a fight and his heatvision wouldnt do enough damage. The equivelant of Buu is Doomsday as both can regenerate and neither has internal organs, comprising of almost solid matter. Buu is much more advanced, couple this with his crazy attacks, ability to learn moves and unlimited endurance he would overwhelm Superman, no physical blow can kill Buu.

Internet explorer Favourite Manga Never read any	My little bro and I made a superman and batman lego character way before the official batman legos came out. In our world we had a mixture of Jedi, Dragon Ball Z, DC Comics, Marvel, as well as plenty of characters of our own imagination. Now, to avoid having to explain the wide range of our created characters, the Jedi were the bosses until Dragon Ball got involved. Superman was already there, but he was protecting Batman and other weaker superheros from stronger villians (my bro never makes a weak villain, each is stronger than the last) The way we always imagined it was that against people like Nappa Superman wouldn't break a sweat. He could kill Frieza because Freiza wouldn't be able to stand up to him. But once we introduced Broly, Kal-El bit the dust. The only thing about superman that I would think would allow him to beat more than a super sayain 1 is one of the few moments I enjoyed in Justice League. As he fights Darkseid , darkseid taunts him about how Superman barely survived last time. Clark says "I feel like I live in a world of cardboard, I am always being careful, always checking my strength to make sure I dont hurt anyone. But you can take it can't you big guy." Flareon	Here's the breakdown of this painfully obvious matchup: Superman moves faster than a speeding bullet Goku moves faster than the speed of light itself Superman may struggle, but can stop a doomed airplane from hitting the ground Goku could do this with one hand Superman can destroy a car Goku can destroy a planet (arguably a solar system) Superman can withstand a bullet straight to the chest Goku can withstand a crater inducing explosion without flinching Superman's weakness is cryptonite Goku's weaknesses are other fighters that can destroy galaxies, and food Goku, in base form, fires a Ki blast at the Man of Steel and that's really about it. I'd say Superman would be a good fight for Raditz though.

FireFox Favourite Manga don't have one	I am a fan of both so it's hard for me to really be biased here but as much as I love DB, i think Superman would own Goku in any form. No offense to anyone here, but Supes actually has the ability to fly into the sun unharmed not even Brolly has that power. If we are able to except several different forms of Goku to battle supes then we can't be ignorant to the several forms of Superman either. There was a time where Supes powers where nearly limitless with how much of the sun his body was absorbing. Not only that but Superman thanks to the power of the yellow sun can pretty much never die. In some comics he is seen up to 80,000 years in the future. The only person who came close to killing superman was Doomsday who like Superman is of kyptonian descent. If he needed to beat a foe like Goku all he would have to do is Let Goku black him into the sun like he did to Brolly and when Supes comes back he would just thrash him. Most people are hung up on the early versions of Super man when his powers had limits like with the various catch phrases of "Faster then a speeding bullet. more powerful then locomotive, able to leap building in a single bound" Things have changed drastically since then. Supes speed is on par with that of and possibly faster then The Flash. He has the power to be in space in definitely with out the use of oxygen, his only real weakness is green kryptonite and goku as well as the rest of the z team would not be able to know of this.
