This is based on a idea for a fanfic that takes place in an alternate version of the Dragon Ball Z time-line. The picture gave me no end of troubles, so see what you think.

Goku looks like a sky captain kind of hero here. Arale looks like his trusty engineer. A bit more action looking in this one compared to he cute innocence of your previous fan arts.

What made this trouble to do?
Your art is bold and simple, i like the use of subtle shading. Ive looked at your other works before as well but didnt get round to leaving a comment but wanted to say there is a real charm with what you do.

Thanks. The original sketch had to edited a good bit to get in league with the rest of my art; the heads were originally wonky looking.

Goku's outfit is based on the chapter titles pages of the Dragon Ball manga. You know, the ones where's he's riding a motorcycle, or dressed like a pilot, or any number of things that don't appear in the actual manga. Arale's outfit is inspired by Final Fantasy, which typically features characters with unsymmetrical outfits. That's why Arale only has one overall strap, and why one of the wings on her cap is bigger than the other.
