Hey, is it just me or does anyone else hate it when animes are to serious? This is hard to explain for me as I have never watched more than one episode of an anime I didn't like, and I don't like it when there's no action and comedic relief in an anime. Just for the record, does anyone else not like; depressive and dark animes? I could be wrong but I think I watched an episode of Death Note once and I could not watch it again. I felt as though I was going no where. Since I want to make this topic go somewhere, why don't you post what anime(s) you found boring as well. |

Yeah i felt this way when watching an anime series called Gundam Wing on cartoon network a few years ago. PLOT - About four young pilots who operated these huge fifty feet mecha robots that where made out of this super hard rare material known as Gundanium -Ta-da. It mostly followed one of the pilots called Hero Yui (spelling), an emotionally detached killing machine who was slowly awakening to his human emotions thanks to a girl. This show bored you to tears, their was the often action (kinda) but it was done in a way that was just dull to watch. Sure their where giant mechas and explosions but it you never felt like there was any real threat (the Gundams where nearly invincible and could walk through almost anything while being operated by pilots with super human skills made them near unbeatable). Fights often where too one sided or too little going on -bang-bang-boom away we go. Was a really political show to watch, just loads of stuff on morales and why killing and fighting is bad- blah blah blah. Im all for morales, i love to learn them but this show just made it too dull. Gundams looked cool though if nothing else. |

lmao I remeber Gundam Wing, it sucked that badly. There was a slight improvment when I watched Gundam Seed for a little while, although let's face it. any Gundam series doesn't deserve to be cosndiered good in my book. Decent at it's best. |
