Mabye Tien's contributions would have led to something in the Cell and Buu saga but those are very very brief. You can't forget Krillen's moment of fame in the begining of the series with his destructo disc. Although not once do I remeber Yamcha saying that Krillen is the strongest, if anything stronger than himself.

I mean yamcha didn't see tenshinhan for about 07 years so he probably just asumed that krilin was the strongest. Don't know why though, tenshinhan did more fighting then him. His Kikoho kind of damaged cell a little and he did keep up his training. Anyway, I still say that Krilin>Yamcha.

Yamcha stated to Marron (Krillin's daughter) at the Buu saga tournament that Krillin was the strongest human on Earth. Of course, that statement can be debated as it was said to Krillin's daughter, but the point still stands. Realistically, Tien should be the strongest (excluding Uub) as he seemed to continue training without stop, and was the stronger fighter up intill Krillin had his potential unlocked by Guru. He could have easily closed that distance by training. However, if we take Yamcha's statement as true, then officially Krillin is the strongest human outside of Uub. (who doesn't count in my opinion, as his power comes from Kid Buu) The correct answer is up to you to decide. Mc Esse: it's all well and good including most things from the anime, but the anime is almost a direct copy of the manga, it's not just based on it. Therefore, things that hugely change character's powers (Tien and the others beating Ginyu Force, Yamcha beating Olibu) should just be ignored, in my opinion. Even if you go by the animé. How would Tien and the others realistically get to the Ginyu Force's powers in so little time on King Kai's planet, or how would Yamcha possibly measure up to Olibu EVER? Olibu was a Pikkon level fighter, who was equal to FPSSJ Goku. I doubt Yamcha was even in the hundred thousands power level when he stopped training. He never beat any of the Ginyu force. It's just illogical that he'd be able to improve that much in such a short space of time. Anyway as I said, Uub is the strongest, but excluding him, Tien is realistically likely to be the strongest by a long shot. It's Krillin if you go by Yamcha's quote. Yamcha comes last of the four, regardless. Videl wouldn't stand a chance against Roshi, let alone the human Z Fighters.
