Why weren't Piccolo and Vegeta in Movie 10?

Why weren't Piccolo and Vegeta in Movie 10?

Detective Conan, FMA (original), Yu Yu Hakusho Favourite Manga Anything by Akira Toriyama	Doesn't it seem odd that those two didn't show up to fight Broly? Surely they sensed his power after his awakening? I could understand Vegeta not wanting to fight him after the last time, but Piccolo had shown up to help Gohan in every single movie (Dead Zone excluded) so why stop then? Come to think of it, Piccolo was absent from the last four movies altogether. It just doesn't make sense that they would drop one of the most popular characters just like that! Your thoughts?

Probably just trying something different out with the inclusion of Videl and whatnot. Different characters. Maybe they didn't want it to seem like the first Broly movie.

You basically said what I was trying to say, but in a lot less text. I honestly think it's as simple as that. They just wanted to avoid making it similar to the original Broly movie. That could be a reason why it was horrible, too, since the first movie was (in my opinion) one of the best DBZ movies.

Internet Explorer & Firefox Favourite Manga n/a	They wanted to give the other characters a chance to fight and maybe Vegeta was out training in space again, or working because in another movie, the one with Tapion, Vegeta showed up very late into the fight because he was working the rest of the time.... I cant really think of an excuse for Piccolo though...

	Probably worlds biggest Videl fan and one of the biggest GohanxVidel fans DBZ only fools. I've seen her in GT and it makes me want to be sick.

Prior to movie 8, more or so around the time the Cell Saga was reaching it's climax, was the begining of the end of Piccolo being a notable DBZ character.

Posts: 32 Group: Member Member #4,214 Joined: May 28, 2009 Favourite Anime Dragonball And Pokemon What Browser do you use? 3 Doogle Favourite Manga Pokemon Adventures	I think when broly went Legendary Super Saiyan i'm sure his energy signal can be felt at the kami's lookout and west city and Vegeta and Piccolo must of reconized the energy signal and didn't bother coming because they know they don't stand a chance againt broly before.
