mystic gohan would be more powerful and he did well against superbuu who was stronger then ssj3 goku and ssj2 vegeta.kidbuu is the most destructive of all the buus.and he did well against goku,vegeta,and fatbuu.and he also blew up the earth.so if gohan doesnot hold anything back could he give kidbuu a hardtime.or would kidbuu win. |

This is false. Even Goku states that he is stronger than Kid Buu, and as proven in another debate, Gohan at his potential is stronger than Goku. Gohan > Super Buu > Goku > Kid Buu |

It's not false, Kid buu is a KID so he's acts like a KID. Kids can be destructive. Adults aren't consider to be as destructive. That's all besides the point. I really can't say even thought it's probably an obvious answer because I'm biased as hell against Mystic Gohan. I dunno why just am lol. |

Kid Buu is the most dangerous and most likely to be destructive. And this is because he is pure evil. Even though Super Buu was stronger, he still had the good Buu inside of him. That's why he wouldn't kill Mr. Satan and hesitated to kill Videl at first. He was stronger but more subdued. Whereas Kid Buu didn't have anything holding him back and he just thought the universe was his play thing to destroy at his will. Oh yeah back on topic... [whoops] As biased as I am about Gohan [I believe he's extremely over rated as a character], he wouldn't really even have a problem against Kid Buu. Gohan was MOUNTAINS above Goku and Goku at his strongest is insinuated to be stronger than Kid Buu. Too bad he couldn't hold onto his energy... I don't see how Gohan would win. I don't remember seeing any evidence on the show that suggested that Kid Buu is any weaker than Super Gotenks Buu, who whooped Gohan easily. |

After Goku and Vegeta pulled all the people Buu had absorbed away from Buu, Vegeta was about to blow his way out of Buu's body. At that point, Goku said "Wait! If we go out there now, he's going to kill us.". Therefore, Super Buu (with no absorbtions) is far superior to SSJ3 Goku and SSJ2 Vegeta together (far superior because Goku didn't even think they stood a chance). Obviously, SSJ3 Goku did well against Kid Buu, even stating he could destroy him if he could reach full power (which he couldn't, due to his living body and the strain SSJ3 caused). So yeah, Goku was able to fight evenly with Kid Buu but even with Vegeta didn't stand a chance against Super Buu. Super Buu without any absorptions is stronger then Kid Buu. Further evidence: Goku said that a fighter stronger then him would appear to fight Buu. He was referring to Gotenks. He never imagined they would reach Super Saiyan 3, so we can assume that SSJ Gotenks is stronger then SSJ3 Goku. SSJ3 Gotenks is obviously a step above SSJ Gotenks, and he was only able to fight around evenly with Super Buu. In conclusion, Super Buu is much more powerful then both SSJ3 Goku and Kid Buu. Ultimate Gohan beat Super Buu (before absorbing Gotenks) without breaking a sweat, so obviously he's WAY above Kid Buu, as well as SSJ3 Goku. Gohan is by far the strongest unfused fighter (counting Buu's absorbtions as fusions) in DBZ. |

But there is another evidence that puts your theory Psyam under the question: In episode 252 "Ready to Fuse" Goku came back to give Gohan earring so they can fuse and beat Gotenks Super Buu. But then when Gotenks' fusion broke up inside of Super Buu Goku said to Gohan something like: "There will be no need for us to join bodies anymore, Majin Buu has lost over a third of his power." From this you may think that Goku was referring at the fact that he and Gohan are going to team up and beat Buu, but then Goku turned to Buu and said: "You don't plan to beat ME like that do you?" He said "ME", not "US" !!! He was referring on attacking Super Buu(who had Piccolo's power in addition) alone in the SSJ3 state. And Super Buu was angry for losing his powers,he probably knew if he doesn't do something Goku is going to beat him into the ground(Of course Super Buu had a backup plan involving Gohan) So from this I think that Goku ssj3 alone could have destroyed Super Buu...but then he might not...who knows...anyway I think people give way to little respect to Kid Buu. I for one think that Kid Buu is the strongest and craziest of all standard Buu's forms (Not the Gotenks or Gohan forms of Super Buu,those are way to strong). Kid Buu is stronger than Super Buu (normal form,without the absorbs of the Z Fighters). So in a fight of Mystic Gohan vs Kid Buu I'll wote for Kid Buu  Btw it's nice to be back , I haven't been on this forum for a long time...

You would have a good point, but as you can see, it doesn't really prove my points wrong, it just contradicts them. This is because it was an animé only line. The line from the manga was "Gohan can beat you now" (or something similar), Goku only said that line you stated in the Funimation dub as far as I'm aware. Normally the animé mess ups I can let slide, but in this case, it contradicts the manga (which is the official source and the real canon story), so personally I have to rule it out as just being a mistake. That's also not the only mistake in the animé at that point. In the animé, Gotenks Buu attacks SSJ3 Goku, and Goku appears to fend off his attacks (though he does get beaten up), in the manga that never happened, as the fusion ran out just as Buu charged at Goku. Just thought I'd say that in case you or someone else brings it up. It's unlikely Goku could even put up any sort of fight against Gotenks Buu, which the animé contradicts and makes Goku appear stronger then he really is. To further the evidence, think about it. Super Buu has Kid Buu's power AND Good Buu's power, but unlike his original Fat Buu form, the goodness doesn't seem to hold his power back, because his evil side is in control. If you take Kid Buu, and just add the raw power of the Good Buu, you get Super Buu's power. And to stay on topic, that of course means that as Mystic Gohan dominated Super Buu, he would defeat Kid Buu with even less effort. EDIT: Sorry, I forgot to add, welcome back to the forum. Ok, I agree about the Goku ssj3 beating Super Buu matter. But still I think that Kid Buu is stronger than Super Buu. My theory: As much as i understand about Buu's power and as much i understood from the anime, the energy of the Kai's actually decreases power of Buu,it doesn't increase it. Super Buu still had the influence of the South Supreme Kai within him, and that was actually reducing his power,not increasing it. But when he transformed into Kid Buu he lost the influence of South Supreme Kai, and that allowed his evil power to reach it's maximum. Thanks for the welcome

It would be like a pitbull terrier versus a Bull Mastiff. kid Buu would be incredibly fierce and pressure Gohan with constant aggressive attacks. Once he bites he wont let go. With him having near infinite energy, rapid regeneration from any injury and without a care in the world Kiid Buu would just keep going. It can be pretty disheartening when your blasting someone with all youve got and they just keep coming back at you with the intention to kill just as strong if not stronger than before seemingly unharmed. Gohan is hugely more powerful than Kid Buu in his Mystic state couple this with him not having to worry about his stamina fading like SS3 Goku gives him a better chance. It doesnt mean he would win however. He isnt fighting an ordinary mortal fighter like say Frieza (i mean in terms of durability and stamina not in terms of power) he is fighting a remorseless killing machine with infinite power that is unfazed by any injury. Even though Gohan is powerful it doesnt mean that he would have the skill as he allowed himself to get rusty, just that he can now swing a lot harder but not more accurately. Mind you in saying that Piccolo makes a comment about how Gohan seems different, not just in power but in attitude, like Gohan was harder, more willing to kill than he had been previous. Almost what he had been like when he went SS2 against Cell. So maybe his skills increased along with his added power and speed. Gohan should win this on power but with Buus infinite strength and ferocity and random style of fighting couple with his regeneration could eventually win this outcome. Funny. But yeah, Brian's scenario wouldn't be far from the truth. Ultimate Gohan is ridiculously more powerful then Kid Buu. One charged Kamehameha and it'd be over. Buu's regeneration is only really effective against fighters equal to or weaker then him. For example, Vegito could have destroyed Buu at any point easily. Kid Buu wouldn't be quite that outmatched, but it'd be a huge gap. A much bigger gap then between Kid Buu and full power SSJ3 Goku, who was stated to be capable of destroying Buu completely. |
