I saw a video on YouTube which opened my mind to Atheism, the video made me think, is Atheism actually a mental disorder? The man made really good points, so I personally agree with him, Atheism is a mental disorder, everyone needs to believe in God or they live their lives suffering, which is what mental disorders cause. This way I could very well say that christians have a mental disorder as well to believe something could just create crap out of nothing, but I don't.

Atheism is a choice just as believing in a higher power is a conscious choice; a belief. To say, " one believes in God or lives their life suffering," is also a statement of belief, not a fact. A mental disorder is a true disorder, one diagnosed and classified by a qualified doctor--it is not simply a belief but a fact. It is also a belief to many, though not a proven fact, that ALL of those that live with a mental disorder suffer. Mental disorders vary widely in both classification and range/depth as do the accompanying associated effects.

I have seen the word troll mentioned here a few times, what does that mean or refer to? Hi Finta646, with enough understanding and studing of the Atheism condition, it could be classed as a mental disorder, before anyother mental disoder was discovered, they had no idea what it was or if it was a medical condition. So if they put serious research into this, they could find some evidance that it is. In anycase, Atheists shouldn't be allowed to control power in a modern world, they only cause trouble. Thankyou
