SSJ3 Goku couldn't handle either of these two, and it looked like they would be a pretty equal fight. Psyam, I need your help. Okay, wait a second... I'm confused about something. How did Goku SSJ3 go toe to toe with Fatazz Buu, and also Kid Buu, yet Kid Buu dominated Fatazz Buu? Edited by Brian, Jun 13 2009, 03:48 AM.

Well even though Goku stated that he probably couldn't win, he definitely later said [after he battled Buu] that he probably could've but wanted to give the new generation a chance. And I definitely agree. He wasn't sure until after he battled Buu and saw what he was capable of. Goku held his own for a while but in the end needed Vegeta to fuse with him in order to beat Janemba. So my money is on Janemba. As for the Kid Buu thing, Kid Buu just liked toying with his victims so that's why Goku lasted as long as he did. But I think there had to be some animosity toward Fat Buu being that Kid Buu was the true Buu. That's why he didn't really hold back and just destroyed Fat Buu's life. |

I think SSJVegito has pretty much got it down. Goku said he might or even probably could of beat Fat Buu, while He HAD to fuse to beat Super Janemba. It was the only option. Based on that, I'd say Janemba would win. Unless Buu started screaming insults at him that is...I can expand on this question, though. Fat Buu and Good Buu (or Mr. Buu as he can be called) do not have the same power. Fat Buu is how Buu first appeared to the Z fighters, while he still had evil inside him. Mr. Buu is the pure goodside of Buu. The one who Kid Buu spat out. Mr. Buu only has something like 30-40% of the original Fat Buu's power, as most of the power went to the Evil Buu, who later became Kid Buu. There is an almost plot-hole like thing in that Evil Buu and Kid Buu should be one in the same, but aren't. I don't really know why there's two versions. When Fat Buu expelled his evil side, it should of been Kid Buu, not Evil Buu. But never mind that. If Fat Buu is the Good Buu and Kid Buu/Evil Buu combined, why then, did he lose to SSJ3 Goku when Kid Buu alone didn't? Simply because his good nature was suppressing most of his power. That's also the reason why Super Buu is far stronger then Fat Buu, even though they are made of the same two halves (Mr Buu and Kid Buu/Evil Buu). When the evil side is in control, Buu's power is unrestrained. So to answer your question, the "Fatazz" Buu that fought Goku was the combination of both Kid Buu and Mr. Buu, but was being held back by the Kai's goodness. The Buu that got beat up by Kid Buu was the weaker, pure good side of Buu. Fat Buu and Mr. Buu look the same, but they're different. Edited by Psyam, Jun 13 2009, 08:26 PM.

Goku stated that he could defeat Kid Buu, but he was just waiting to give Vegeta a shot at it. (very foolish of our hero) So how does this all add up? He can't beat Majin Buu, but he can defeat Kid Buu? |

He could beat Fat Buu. He just wanted to give the kids a shot. I don't remember him saying he could beat Kid Buu. I do remember him having Vegeta fight him so he could power up. But even then I thought he was just HOPING to beat him. He wasn't positive. Maybe I'm wrong. I'll watch it again if you can help me out with an episode number? |

SSj3 goku said he could of beat fat buu when he was fighting them but he wanted to give gohan and goten a chance at saving the world... and goku looked like he did much better against fat buu than he did against janemba :P Final Form Janemba > Fat BUU |

I think Janemba would win this one. When Goku was fighting with Fat Majin Buu, he wasn't really fighting, he was only holding him off, so Goten and Trunks could get the device to find the Dragon Balls, so Goku wasn't fighting at his full potential at all. I think he would have killed him if he was figthing at his full power. Majin Buu wasn't completely lethal either, because he had a bit of good in him, just like when he became friends with Hurcule, so he may hold back a tiny bit. Even though Majin Buu can regenerate, Janemba could pound him to death, but Majin Buu is also nearly undefeatable, because he could even survive against Kid Buu's attacks, and also hold him back. Even though Majin Buu can regenerate and do other weird things. I still think that Janemba would kill him. :/ |

What? Later on in the Boo saga, Goku states that he could have beaten Fat Boo when he fought him if he had wanted, but, decided to give the next generation a shot at saving the world. Must I pull out direct manga quotes? |

Nah. I clearly missed that part. This one is to Janemba hands down, who's even putting up a good fight with Super Buu in another topic. I should have thought this one out more thoroughly before I made it. I just figured another VS debate would be necessary. Janemba wins this, if he can get by the regeneration factor with Buu. I'm pretty sure that's settled. |
