I have to agree. Chichi is the most powerful person in the universe because she controls 3 fighters that are powerful. She can make Goku quiver in fear. Behind every good man, their is a better woman Xd. |

Ok, in the original DBZ series Kobito Kai said that Kid Buu was Buu was at his original form which was also his most powerful and most evil. It was stated by the Kai that Kid Buu far surpassed all his other forms because he was pure evil. Ultimate Gohan faced Buu at a state much weaker than that of Kid Buu and he could never truly defeat him on contrary, Goku said to Vegeta that at ssj3 he could have defeated Kid Buu at the very beginning if he wanted to. But, he said that he wanted to give Vegeta a turn to fight him. Therefore, if Goku could have, and eventually did anyway, defeat Buu, and Ultimate Gohan could not. It would only make sense that Goku would be superior at maximum power. However, at an original state, Gohan is much more powerful than that of Goku's ability. Which is why Akira was stating that Gohan was stronger. Toriyama was saying his natural form was superior but not when it comes to their full power. Also, if you recall in the Cell Saga, Gohan was about to lose and Goku HELPED Gohan defeat Cell. Without his father, Gohan would have lost against Cell, Bojack, and Broly. Every time Gohan won, Goku broke a rule to assist him in some way. When it comes to Vegeta, he is powerful but at the end of DBZ he submits to Goku saying that he is truly the best warrior. Moving on to DBGT. Though it is not created by Akira Toriyama, it is the follow up to the DBZ series and all rights had been submitted to the new series. Thus showing that all events taking place in GT truly must be taken into account just like any other DBZ episode. That being said, Goku and Vegeta transform into ssj4. This clearly shows that they are on a higher level than that of Gohan. Also, in DBGT Gohan reverts back into transforming into a ssj this is because he put his focus back into his studies and family due to the time of peace, when in fact, Goku continuously trained with Uub to increase their strength exponentially. To summarize my thoughts to the strongest original character, Goku at ssj4 is the strongest with Vegeta ssj4 coming at a close second. Now when you look into fusions, though two people fuse, how many people do you see once the technique is performed? The answer is one. And the new being created from Goku and Vegeta at ssj4 would be ssj4 Gogeta. Gogeta's quote when he comes forth in GT is that he is neither Goku nor Vegeta, he is Gogeta. So if you would like to include fusion in your decision for the strongest it would have to be ssj4 Gogeta. He was clearly stronger than that of Omega Shenron. He was simply playing with him when they were fighting. Another note is that Omega Shenron was by far the strongest villain that the Dragonball franchise had ever seen. And when it truly comes down to it, in the end of DBZ and DBGT when all else fails, Goku ends up on top pushing his limits and rising above any enemy no matter what the circumstance Goku becomes victorious. |

Everything directly stating Kid Boo to be the most powerful is from the anime, which is completely messed up in and of itself. When Goku said he wanted Vegeta to have a turn, Vegeta immediately called him out on it and Goku admitted he was lying. The fact of the matter was that Goku just couldn't reach his full power in a living body (at that time, anyway).
Toriyama never said such a thing. That's a fan-made rumor.
Gohan apparently trained in the 15 years between Kid Boo's defeat and the start of GT. |

In the anime when Kid Buu forms and Kibito Kai is telling the story of how he came to be to Old Kai. Old Kai says something along the lines "So the absorptions weaken him" I'm not sure if that's mentioned in the manga but it clearly is in the anime and he is the strongest buu bar done. |

This is what's said in the manga: Chapter: 508 (DBZ 314), P4.2-7 Kaioshin: “In m…my era there were five Kaioshins…until they were defeated by the Majin Boo that the wizard Babidi created…I was the youngest and most powerless one, but I somehow survived, with only heavy injuries…But the other four fell to Boo…First, two were killed…the North Kaioshin and the West Kaioshin….And then the South Kaioshin, the burliest and strongest one, was…somehow absorbed by Boo….. “ Elder Kaioshin: …And he became that huge Boo from before? “ Kaioshin: “…Yes…Next to be absorbed was the fat but kind and gentle Dai-Kaioshin….The Majin Boo that Bibidi created was evil itself, a failed creation that even Bibidi himself couldn’t handle, but by absorbing the Dai-Kaioshin, he somehow become controllable…. “ Elder Kaioshin: “…So he was finally complete…Which is to say…that this current…small Majin Boo…is the initial…mo…most troublesome one…” Kaioshin: “….Yes…the heart which he gained by going so far as to lower his power through absorption(s)…has returned once again to the way it was…he has no self-control whatsoever…he has become evil itself…” In Boo's own daizenshuu entry, it's stated that only Dai Kaioshin weakened him. While it's not specified what South Kaioshin did in that entry, it can inferred that he strengthened him since we know Buff Boo is stronger than Super Boo.
