Because some people just can't accept that someone might like something, so out of complete disrespect, that someone will just say something like "you suck" And there's the bomb detonator lol, it soon explodes into "no he doesn't suck, how about you, you don't even upload videos so stfu" A lot of people are pathetic, BIG TIME, humans just can't live in harmony because of the urge to *****. Even if your comment is just directed towards the person who uploaded the video or if it's solely a matter of personal preference, more often than not someone else will butt in in and give their highly opinionated(not to mention unwanted) opinion in a needlessly rude manner. Youtube a very large, well-known, and popular place on the internet for people to share their opinions and everyone is optionally faceless(usually with fake names). You can say *anything* and you won't get in trouble for it(and even if you get banned or say something embarrassingly stupid, it won't effect you irl). I guess people just take advantage of that. It can be very funny though, especially when someone is obviously getting trolled and doesn't realize it. Plus i think they have that option where you can take comments out too if you want

They then take all their anger and stuff and let it all go on Youtube or other internet sites because they can do it all from the comfort of their computer chair, rather than facing up to people in real life.

I also agree with AHDS on the whole racist ordeal. I've seen at least 30 comments in all my Youtube browsing that just said "LOOK AT ME! I'M BEING RACIST!." One word, nothing else, just "LOOK AT ME! I'M BEING RACIST!." Probably in response to somebody acting "gangsta," I guess. Now, of course it's pathetic, but at the same time you HAVE to think that these kids saying things like this are probably only like, 14 years old. ...well. I'd think so, right? If they're not, they're just ridiculously immature? Christ. See how ridiculous people are? I've actually seen racial -debates- on Youtube comments before.

If there are more than 2 pages of comments, chances are very good that there's an argument about something really, really stupid going on.
