Okay guys, now that most league seasons have finished, the champions league is now over and done with, and the F.A. Cup has been won, I would like to know your opinions on tranfers for next season and who out of anybody you would like to see playing for your club next year. It would of course be helpful to state which team you support, and you may post up the formation of players you think would be good for the club next season.

I can't believe that! I hope he plays well on the team. Looks like Real Madrid is making some changes big time.

I hear the players at Liverpool want Benitez to sign Michael Owen. I wouldn't mind that for many reasons as:
1. We have just Torres up front.
2. He'll be free as he's out of contract.
3. He's one of my favourite players of all time.

Bit of a gamble though as he's ha da quiet couple of years that have been ravaged with injury. However if we can get him on low-ish wages, which he might consider as he'll be back at a top club, then I don't see why we don't give him a try. If he doesn't go to Liverpool then he'll most probably go to Aston Villa, Everton or Man City I think.

I think that'd work quite well, there's no way he's staying at Newcastle, and injuries aside, he's been fairly prolific in the games he's played goals wise.

As an Arsenal fan, i'd like for them to go for Bassong who was at Newcastle and has had fantastic form and should be fairly cheap. They could also do with another song like player who can play defensive midfield well and can hold a center back position. They need cover for right back as Sagna is the only one holding that position and if he's injured Arsena; have to revert back to Eboue, whose not good enough
A striker is needed as Eduardo can't be counted on, and Adebayor might be leaving so Santa Cruz would be good but if it comes to a bidding war then Arsenal can't really compete with Man city or liverpool so maybe they'd be better off trying for a cheaper player, the one I have in mind is Sylvan Ebanks, In the league he's had 25 goals in 39 games and 12 in 20 the previous season. Although Wolves have been promoted so I doubt they'd give him up without one hell of a fight.
Rosicky should be back soon so I think he'll take left wing, keep walcott on the right and Fabregas and Denilson still in the center, and Arshavin actually playing forward with Van Persie (Assuming Adebayor has left, if not, Denilson on the bench and Arshavin Center).

But lil Michael is kinda injury prone. though, the same could be said for Owen Hargreaves, except he's *****ing awesome as well. It would also kinda be nice seeing Michael Owen back at Liverpool, it's where he belongs IMO, Newcastle and Real Madrid didn't suit him.

I support Manchester United as you might already know, and I'm currently very worried about our squad. It seems like Alex Ferguson was so sure that last season's team was the greatest team we've ever had and much more, but clearly it wasn't. However, seeing as he seems to have thought that up until now, Manchester United don't seem to have any new names lined up for the transfer season which is incredibly worrying seeing as Real Madrid seem to be picking up on nearly every player going.

I'm thinking that Manchester United might have to push the boat right out and offer for some tried and tested players this time and just hope for the best, rather than relying on new talent which is what always seems to happen with Alex Ferguson.

I read on their official website that Manchester United and Antonio Valencia seem to be linked together somehow, but then again, Real Madrid seem like they're linked with him as well. It might be a good buy, but I'm personally skeptical about that as a signing, seeing as he currently plays for Wigan of all teams I would have thought he would have been snatched up by a huge club before hand if he was a great player. Out of all the rumours at the moment, Valencia seems to be the only realistic possible purchase if Real Madrid aren't going for him as well. I just hope that some good players crop up in negotiations... :S

Antonio Valencia is a brilliant player, he should definately be at a top club. Every game I've seen Wigan play he's been awesome. It was the same with Palacios who went to Tottenham.

I think Arsenal definately need to strengthen their central defence with a purchase. Someone who's strong, can tackle and will add a bit of bite and toughness to the team.
