I really don't care much about this game. It's just the same old fighting type game.

Holy *****! Look at Piccolo's Special Beam Cannon! This will no doubt be the best graphical dbz game to date. I looked at gameplay videos on youtube however, and it doesn't look like it has changed much from BT3. I also heard there's gonna be less characters. :arrg:

they dont need to change the fighting style of the game its perfect as it is in bt3. it'll just be bt3 with burst limit graphics thats how it should be.

Looks interesting, Didn't really think they would be furhering the Dragonball Fighting games. Just apart from making a Burst limit 2.

Aren't there any more news about this game?

More characters confirmed, more details on the fighting system? ...

It's still looking a bit empty compared to the previous Tenkaichi games.

Confirmed characters, as of me typing this:

Goku (Base, Super Saiyan, Super Saiyan 2, Super Saiyan 3)
Gohan (Teen) (Base, Super Saiyan, Super Saiyan 2)
Goten (Base)
Gotenks (Base, Super Saiyan, Super Saiyan 3)
Piccolo
Vegeta (Base, Scouter)
Vegeta (Base, Super Saiyan)
Krillin
Frieza (Final Form, 100% Full Power,)
Cell (Imperfect, Semi-Perfect, Perfect, Super Perfect)
Future Trunks - with and without sword - (Base, Super Saiyan, Ultra Super Saiyan)
Trunks (Base)
Android 18
Kid Buu
Super Buu
Fat Buu

There are 10 stages, but downloadable content might be possible later on.

"Ryo Mito [The producer of Raging Blast] has confirmed The number of characters without transformations will be 40-50 and including transformations and costumes [2-3 per character] there will be over 120 playable characters in the game, as well as two new exclusive characters for the game, and ten playable stages."

This is new. Seems they'll be more characters then we thought.

All this is from the wiki page which you'll find here.

Who do you people think the new two exlusive characters will be? I thought it might be the two aliens from the new special.

Gameplay Video

Seems kind of lacking on that, but I just saw another video in which it looks better from what I could tell through the horrible quality.

Edit: I forgot, it's confirmed you can transform in-game. I was worried that you couldn't like Tenkaichi 1.

Thanks for the update, Psyam! ;)

So... about 45 characters without the transformations... does anyone remember how many characters Tenkaichi 3 had (without the transformations too) ?

I'm excited about the 2 new exclusive characters, I just seriously hope they're not going to be irrelevant fillers like the two Frieza soldiers added on Tenkaichi 3 that didn't have a name and no one cared about.

I think the gameplay is starting to look more like a Tenkaichi game, but it still doesn't impress me at all.
I think all Dragonball games lack one crucial thing, which is variety. The gameplay is always the same, it's only about the fights... you can choose a bunch of "different" modes but what you do play is always the same.
I've said this for the Tenkaichi 3 game and I'll say it again: hopefully there will be something fun to add some variety, like some mini games... something like helping Goku and Krillin doing Master Roshi's trainings... ahah or helping Bulma find the dragonballs... something really new and creative!
If you cry, you'll rust.

Nice gameplay footage, seems like you have more freedom in this one...

Wow, I just counted and Tenkaichi 3 has 97 characters, without transformations. That's more then I thought...

Still, 40-50 isn't that bad. We'll still have the bulk of the important characters. I expect we'll lose ones like Future Gohan, Tapion etc...as well as all the Dragonball characters and perhaps the GT ones.

Yeah, that's what I loved about Infinite World.

All I need is Yamcha.

What I want is an improved fighting system, it's unique with its aerial combat and behind the shoulder cam but there's a real lack fo combos, counter systems and throws, fix this, and i'll be very excited.

I'm getting it anyway.

I'm just afraid they'll milk the game through the download content. Where instead, before they would have put the characters to unlock.
