Scans of the game just recently surfaced on the web from a Japanese magazine. No further information has been given, but is likely to surface within the next few months. It has been confirmed that this game will use the similar game play mechanics as the Budokai Tenkaichi series, but is unknown whether this game will be a sequel to Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 or a new section of game all together. If it is a new addition to the Budokai Tenkaichi series, it will be the first on the high definition consoles, as well as on Microsoft's Xbox brand. Many more are yet to come! ahah Welcome to the forum! And about the game... so far so good. Didn't impress me yet, but it was about time they released a new game from the Tenakichi series for the new consoles. Can't wait to hear more news about this.

It looks very pretty so far, but that's about it. Honestly, they can't do much more with DBZ as a fighting game in my opinion. I think it's high time they branched out an made a KOTOR or Fallout 3 style DBZ RPG. |

For sure, as DBZ fans we should know not to over-hype this. There was so much hype for just about every single DBZ game to be released for the latest two console generations, and for the most part the Budokai & Tenkachi series were only decent. I'm not expecting this game to be much different, I am only depending on it to be a party multiplayer game. A game where I don't take it serious on my own, but rather for the enjoyment of me and a group of people. Honestly what looks so special about this game that we've not seen before? ^ The fact that I still play Tenkaichi 2 every day makes this enticing. Hahaha. Even a simple graphics upgrade with little differences to gameplay would truly please me. What do you guys want out of this game? I've heard a lot about the want for character creation, which was probably started by the misguiding "create a character" option for previous Tenkaichi installments. I think that would be pretty awesome. Anything to make the game flexible would be pretty nice. You know the main want I have though? Continuation of the series' storyline. I'm not talking about AF, either. I'm talking about a real, A.T. continuation, via video game. Wouldn't it rock to have a video game exclusive main villain? I think it would. Edit: Psyam and I were talking, and we both agreed that a continuation of the "what if scenario" idea would be a good thing. A few interesting scenarios would be: What if Vegeta Defeated Cell What if Vegeta went SSJ before Goku What if Vegeta went SSJ3 What if Vegeto went SSJ3 What if Gohan had caught the potara earing What if Buu truly absorbed Vegetto What if Goku's ship shut down on his trip to Namek What if Gohan and Trunks do fusion to stop the androids What if there were a Super 18 Child Gogeta Adult Gotenks Insight on Goku's visit to Yardrat (via game over) Cell wins Cell wins (Solar Kamehameha) Super Buu wins Super Buu wins (Piccolo Absorbed) Frieza wins Edited by Brian, May 30 2009, 03:19 PM.
