If vegeta killed Goku or Chi-Chi right infront of Gohan do you think bcuz of gohans anger he would be able to get so mad and take on vegeta maybe even beat him ? |

Goku was stronger than Gohan when he beat Cell. Majin Vegeta was on par with him [even though Goku was holding back]. So therefore Majin Vegeta>SSJ2 Gohan [Cell Games] |

Majin Vegeta is stronger than SSj2 Gohan, mainly for obvious reasons. |

I understand the arguments stated above, but in this certain senario (Majin Vegeta kills his parents right before him) I'm almost 1000% certain that Gohan would have unlocked most if not all of his potential and completely destroyed Vegeta, whom he could toy with because he has no special regeneration abilities. |

Chi-Chi and Goku weren't dead. Gohan would just be pissed like Goku. And Vegeta and Goku were already stronger than Cell Saga SSJ2 Gohan. Add the ability to focus Vegeta's inner evil and make him more resilient to attack from the Majin Boost and you have a warrior far superior to Gohan from the Cell Saga. |

First off the first post is a bit broad, you could be talking about any situation where Gohan and Vegeta were present but this thread seems o go with the Cell Saga. So... Yea I don't really think Gohan would obliterate Vegeta at all. I think it would probably be a decent match. Gohan was way out of rhythm with fighting compared to Majin Vegeta. Even if Vegeta killed Gohans parents or one of them I think it would be a heated battle. Gohan took a while to get to SSJ2 in the Martial Arts torny of the Buu Saga. Then when he faced off against Dabura he should've had him but Gohan just wasn't up to par. Vegeta on the other hand was ruthless as can be. His Pride was just as much a drive at the time as Gohan losing his dad/mom. The difference is that Majin Vegeta set aside everything that can slow him down. Gohan tends to get cocky very quickly. I didn't explain this very well this time, but I don't think Gohan could beat Majin Vegeta without that 'Mystic' thing. |

I think that it would be a tough call. At that particular time, when Gohan became SS2, Vegeta would have been defeated. But Gohan was really out of touch and the fact that Majin Vegeta would be even stronger than the normal Vegeta at the time was would make it difficult. |

I think majin vegeta would destroy gohan ssj2 during the cell games cause the z fighters power levels went up after the cell games, dabura probably been able to knock the stuffing out of super-perfect cell quickly (he owning gohan and piccolo). Vegeta also during his majin form could litereally slap goku ssj 2 around a fair bit (Goku probably gained ssj2 form soon after cell games and he easily masters most of the ssj forms quickly e.g. full power super saiyan) whereas gohan had only just gained ssj 2 form and got cocky and only kuz of goku in the father-son kamehameha he beat cell so in terms of power and power MANAGMENT majin vegeta would slap gohan about |

Majin Vegeta would destroy Super Saiyan 2 Gohan. Vegeta did ok against fat Majin buu, fat buu did ok against Super Saiyan 03 goku. So if fat buu did ok against super saiyan 03 goku who is light years above super saiyan 2 gohan in the cell games and Majin Vegeta did ok against fat buu then vegeta would beat Super Saiyan 2 gohan with minor difficulty. |

i agree majin vegeta would have the advantage after training non stop for seven years then letting babidi reawaken the evil in his heart, also majin vegeta was more or less equal with super sayin 2 goku, who has been training in other world so gohan would get beat badly by vegeta |

That's not really a factor by this point. His rage is what unlocked SSJ2. That was his limit at the time. But realistically he's not that great of a fighter. And Vegeta being stronger, having better fighting skills and being a better strategist, Vegeta would own Gohan no matter how mad he got. His anger would eventually must make him lose focus and make mistakes. And even if Vegeta didn't completely overpower Gohan, he would exploit those mistakes in his favor. |

Vegeta basically goes mental kuz hes pissed at goku and gohan always surpassing him (like what he did when he first became a majin) and gohan starts crying and starts squealing 'never forgive u!' vegeta kills piccolo and goku then gohan tries to go further than ssj2 but realises hes a annoying ***** and has to wait 7 years until he can become mystic when vegeta goes mental and uses his rage and pride to become something new A MAJAIYAN and he grows long hair like goku in ssj3 and grows a goatee, kills gohan with one punch and takes over the universe before blowing up babidi and eating buu and becoming BUMAIYAN!!!!!!!!!!!! |

I agree with all of the Majin Vegeta supporters above, One problem with gauging the power of Majin is that there were a couple different interpitations of it. Whenever I think of the Majin spell I cant help but think about Spopavich getting up with his head twisted clean around and then turning it back straight, still ready to fight. I dont think no matter how upset Gohan got, he just simply didnt have the battle experience to deal with something like that and in the package of a total veteran like Vegeta. Vegeta would have crushed him. |

Majin Vegeta is stronger - a lot stronger, but Gohan had the determination and rage to keep fight no matter what. This topic could go either way and is very debate-able. I'm taking Majin Vegeta though - just because it's later in the show and Vegeta has gotten stronger - especially as a Majin. This is a toss up though. I like giving Power Levels too.
