What are everybody's predictions for the Champions League Final, Manchester Utd vs Barcelona? I'm rooting for Barcelona (as a Liverpool fan :P) but I do genuinely think they can win. They're on the back of a La Liga title win and I think they won the Spanish Cup, the Copa del Rey, as well. I also think that their style of play will suit the wide pitch of the Stade Olimpico. However it'll be a very close match with very few goals in it. Maybe 1 nil Barcelona. |

I think manchester are going to take it, it could swing either way, i think ferdinands fitness will be a major deciding point. |

As a Chelsea fan I want Barcelona to thrash Man United... (Yeah it wasn't thier fault what happened to us in the semi) Realistically though I can see Manchester United dominating this game winning comftorably 2 or 3 nil. |

It's over, 2-0. Man U were ***** to be honest, other than the first 10 minutes they looked completely blunt, they hardly had any good offensive plays. |

I didn't think Manchester United had it in them, and I was worrying about that all day. "Best team they've had" my *****. Even Hull City who the reserve team beat earlier in the week could have played better than United did tonight. The only enjoyment I recieved was the foul play they were comitting at the end, i.e. Paul Scholes slamming himself into whoever it was who fell over for a good couple of minutes. Vidic and Ronaldo were getting into it a bit too. Also, Puyol is a right faker. If you want a player to perform cartwheels for you and act, consult his agent, because he could get a damn oscar for his performances. |

Is Ronaldo any better? Not that I don't agree with you, Puyol for someone of his normally solid standard acted like a fool and with a few others spent the game rolling around in badly 'feigned' agony, from both teams. The diving wasn't that bad though, not compared to a lot of other games. |

Man U were absolutely appaling. They had 5 shots in the first 10 minutes and should have scored at least 3 0f them. The first time Barcelona got hold of the ball and with their first shot of the game they scored and Man U pretty much collapsed after that. I think Ferguson got his tactics completely wrong. Ronaldo shouldn't have been up front. Why play him up front when he's scored so many goals from the wings? Tevez should have started. So many things were wrong in the way they approached the game. I also think they were over-confident going into the game. Their arrogance from their semi-final victory over Arsenal and winning the league carried over and Barcelona brought them back down to Earth, showing them that they are nowhere near the best team in the world. |

I hardly think that saying they are nowhere near the best team in the world is slightly harsh. They got to the final man. Barcalona scored what, 150 goals in the recent season, and Manchester United won their league title. They didn't play well last night at all, and I agree that Ferguson made totally bull***** choices last night. I even said when I started watching "What the ***** is he doing playing Rooney on the wing and Ronaldo up front?", it's like going and taking both players and making them start all over again, learning different things to what they can actually do. Rooney is good enough right? But he plays striker, not winger, Rooney = Good striker. Good striker = Good winger? No! I think that Park could have scored last night, if he had been a lot taller than he is. It would have been an easy goal and made it 1 - 1. But what happened was just demoralising for them and it was like they didn't know anything about what they were doing. As a Manchester United fan I'm kinda upset about last night's match, but I can admit that Barcalona were by far the better team, but in no way does it make Manchester United a poor team, they made a mistake, but for a club like Manchester United to do that, it makes more far far far more impact than it would if they were a team like Derby County or something. Next season I think that they might possibly want to consider drafting in some new players and see if they can keep up what they've been doing but next season, get it right and win the final. Perhaps the pressure to perform well last night was too much for them. That Manchester United didn't seem confident in what they were doing at all, they must have known what they were going up against. Barcalona would have completely stamped teams like Arsenal and Liverpool and Chelsea in a similar fashion, and if they had been in the final, it would have been fair enough. They're a great team, and they might just be in a league apart from the top English clubs, which is just something that they all need to pick up on. So just good luck all the english clubs for the Champions League next year lol. |

I'm going to be honest, Barcelona did not deserve the trophy since they did not deserve to be in the final. |
