Internet Explorer Favourite Manga DBZ	It's gotta be an after affect of the Galactico regime. All of the Galactico players were getting older but they weren't replacing them as they were held in too high a regard. Players such as Figo, Zidane, Roberto Carlos, Beckham and even Raul were playing well into their 30s for Real. That meant that when they had started to decline and not win trophies, it was too late to bring in new 'Galacticos' because Real Madrid were no longer the best team in the World. What they're gonna have to do is to be happy with 2nd place for a few seasons whilst they reform their transfer policies. Rather than buying a player because of the player such as Kaka and Cristiano Ronaldo, they need to buy players that they need. They need to start buying players for the future as well as players who are ready now, and also need to improve their academy and start using players from there. As a Real Madrid fan you probably don't want to hear this, but basically they need to take a leaf out of Barcelona's book. Also, they need to keep a manager for at least 2-3 seasons. Constant upheaval (spelling?) will unsettle both the players and the club and does nobody any good.

They used to be known as one of the most powerful teams, but now they are losing. I agree with most of what you said that they need to do. I just hope they can progress forward.

You have a great squad aswell some fantastic players in there... but Barcelona team is so much better. I mean, Liverpool put 5 past you. Next year I would not mind getting Madrid because I know it will be an easy game in the CL.

Internet Explorer Favourite Manga DBZ	Liverpool also put 4 past Manchester United at Old Trafford, let's see if Barcelona can do the same tomorrow :P You make a good point about their managers getting the sack after winning the league. They want both trophies and "attractive football" but that combination has to take time. A manager needs 3-4 seasons to get the squad together that he wants and for them to play his football.

They have been losing games, and it's making me mad. The old real madrid used to kick all the team's asses. Now they need to do like major changes to their squad to compete for next season. I hope they can get a new manager, start over, get some young players, and refresh their status among the best in the world.

Accept 2nd best for a few seasons whilst their manager, current or a new one, builds the team he wants and then once they've started to gel and he has the core of the team, then the fans can start to expect Madrid to be challenging for honours once again.
