So another thread inspired this battle. Who do you think would win between Vegito and a Gohan-absorbed Super Buu? Let's set up some rules too...  vs  Vegito can't become Super Vegito. Buu can't destroy the planet [or attempt to] out of desperation. And for fun let's say that Vegito ISN'T playing around like he did in the show. He's completely focused and ready to battle, NOT play. In the manga, even before Vegito turned into Super Vegito, Buu was afraid, and Vegito clearly was confident his power was greater. Really, there isn't much of a match here. Vegito would whip Boo with Gohan Absorbed. |

I agree. Vegito has always been said to be one of the strongest characters, if not the strongest, in the dbz world. He would be able to take buu out. |

Yes, Vegito would own even without Super Saiyan. I think that the animé gave an accurate representation of how he'd fare at base, and he wasn't even being serious. He seemed pretty confident in himself. |

Ok in the anime Vegito (hes calls himself Vegerot in the Manga) is able to wipe the floor with Super (Gohan) Buu in just his base form. This is ridiculous and i hate that the show changed it from the manga, reason being when you consider just how much more powerful powering upto into Super Saiyan makes a warrior, up to 50 times and then some. In the manga Vegito instantly powers up to a SS2 (he has the lightning effect) and then proceeds to beat up Super (Gohan) Buu with ease. This makes more sense as doesnt blow his PL out of proportion. I suppose they change it in the anime to make it seem like the Pottara really is that great and Old Kai makes a point that they would probably win in their base. So the creators decided to change this to match that comment and make it more dramatic. In my oppinion Buu should have easily wiped out Vegito in his base but because this was changed in the anime, alas unfortunately, Vegito in his base will and does clearly win this. Its a shame this wasnt an awesome fight between two equally powerful fighters, the best in the series (best Fused warriors that is) and the Z universe as opposed to their being a massive gap between their powers; the child versus the Heavy weight World champion boxer; who do you think would win  .

I don't think that SSJ was even a 50 times increase any more. Judging by Babadi's power-reading thing, Goku only got about 4 times stronger when he turned Super Saiyan to battle Yakon, this of course being at the start of the Buu saga. It's quite possible that the transformations yielded less power as the Saiyan's themselves got more powerful at base. After all, the transformation "responds to a need, not a desire", and with more base power, the Super Saiyan increase would be needed less. I admit I forgot about lightening in Vegito's aura. I always thought of him as just a SSJ because of the name "Super Vegito", but yes, he probably was SSJ2. However, with SSJ by then being only a 4x increase in power, SSJ2 could possibly only be about a 10-15 times increase (rough guess, don't take me up on it). The point I'm trying to make is that SSJ2 Vegito wouldn't be 100-200x Base Vegito or anything. Not nearly that much, so him beating Buu at Base isn't that inconceivable considering how badly he trashed him as a SSJ2. Edited by Psyam, May 17 2009, 04:36 PM.

I was hoping DBZNerd would pop in here since he posted on another thread that both 'Buuhan', 'Buutenks' AND Mystic Gohan were stronger than Vegito... I want to hear his thoughts on that.

I know he was called Vegerot in the manga but I think that just sounds idiotic. With ALL names, like Boo, Mr. Satan, etc. I adhere to the manga strictly by their proper names, also with Ten instead of Tien and Kuririn instead of Krillin, but, Vegerot just sounds stupid. Vegito actually sounds good. And ROFLMFAO if DBZNerd thinks that, no offense, but, that's just really, really dumb. Edited by NeciFiX, May 17 2009, 06:38 PM.

I agree that Vegerot sounds daft, one thing i was glad that they changed in the anime to Vegito. When i first read that bit in Manga volume 42 (or 26) when he proudly claims 'I am Vegerot!' i remember thinking... what on earth, thats a bit... well not so good. Pysam that does seem pretty correct to me, in the Frieza saga when Goku first goes Super Saiyan it is about 50 times but as the series progresses it decreases less as a MULTIPLIER (2 time, 50 times etc) and becomes more of an ADDED boost (plus 100,000,000 etc) allowing them to transcend past their normal limitations. They increase their base levels, negating the need for the Super Saiyan power a little bit more each time. So i would change my opinion on that. Still i do think that Buu should have been able to beat Vegito in his base BUT then again he was relying on childish moves and allowed his temper to get in the way and was over-confident. He was facing two of the most powerful and experienced combat warriors combined into a single body. Vegito was being cocky BUT he did have a plan the entire time, trying to goad Buu into resorting to absorbing him, having some fun along the way. Vegito wins in the end. Meh

LOL @ vegerot Anyway.. I voted for "nothing" because it was available and I'm in a mischievous mood. I think Veg "erot" ito would wipe the floor with Buuhan in any form and as usual I agree with Psyam's reasoning :P |
Probably worlds biggest Videl fan and one of the biggest GohanxVidel fans DBZ only fools. I've seen her in GT and it makes me want to be sick.  | |

That's because Vegito got nothing (feats/showing) 2 put him above those fighter. 4 me the SSJ in the later series only gives a 2-3x boost so putting him between Mystic Gohan & Super Buu is a good choice. But if we use the official SSJ estimate power up he gets a 50x boost so therefore Vegito must of been extremely weak since Buuhan spooked him 2 go straight SSJ without even testing his new body against him. Remember Vegito is cocky so there is no point 4 him 2 go SSJ if he nos there isn't a huge gap between their power. (2-3x boost) Super Vegito >> Buuhan > Buutenks >= Mystic Gohan > Vegito > Super Buu (50x boost) Super Vegito >> Buuhan > Buutenks >= Mystic Gohan > Super Buu >>> Vegito  Just 2 let people no Vegerot = Vegeta and Kakorot

The anime shows a great representation of what would happen with Vegito fighting Buuhan in base form. Vegito in his base is the strongest fighter in all of DB, DBZ and the DB manga even before his SSJ transformation. There's no way Mystic Gohan and Buutenks are stronger than him. And there's no way Gohan and Buutenks are equal. Buutenks was messing with him the whole time and had him running scared. Hence why Goku had to show up and save the day. |

vegeto is the winner. the fusions tend to get cocky, but if vegeto really focused he would be way stronger than super buu + gohan and whoever else you wanna throw inthere. |
