Nappa; Not Pure Saiyan?

Posts: 5 Group: New Member Member #4,180 Joined: May 6, 2009	I started re-watching the series including movies, and I'm at Episode 156 and a few episodes ago it was mentioned that pure blooded saiyans cannot grow hair, but Napa had hair in the Bardock special and he was bald on earth. So either he shaved it off, lost it all or he is not pure blooded. Can anyone remember other flashbacks possibly before the Bardock special to see if he had no hair then and grew some? Posts: 116 Group: Member Member #4,178 Joined: May 4, 2009	I'm guessing it's from stress....Vegeta probably wasn't the funnest guy to hang around... continuity isn't one of DBZ's strongest points... Pure Saiyans hair isn't supossed to change, but even Vegeta's hair changes time to time.

Posts: 5 Group: New Member Member #4,180 Joined: May 6, 2009	Right now I'm on episode 162 and a bit of Goku's hair caught on Fire by Gohan's blast, so technically he would be missing a bit of hair now but it seems to look fine afterwards.

Vegeta was lying since SSJ totally changes 1 hair style . Anyways Nappa could of shaved bold or mayb he gotten so old his hair started 2 fall off. Remember Nappa is very old as he served both King Vegeta as his strongest Elite Saiyan and also served Vegeta til his adulthood so likely he should of been in the 60s at least.

If you have seen the Bardock movie you can see that Goku is born with his hair. Full blooded Saiyan's hair never change from the day that they are born so if you shave or cut it of it can never grown back.

Lol it could have been possible that he didn't like the small patch of hair on his head so he shaved it. It does not necessarily mean he is not full blooded saiyan. If he wasn't, I think they'd let us know.

Or maybe, as I saw in a doujin, young Vegeta got pissed and ripped it out lol. agreed. but it is possible that he is mixed with something else that would make him fairly strong for a saiyan. because even though he doesnt appear to be powerful before the mighty goku, nappa was as you said very strong in the saiyan world. that could be a combination of something else in the universe. and then all he would have to do is shave his head daily or something and he could pass it off.

No idea, probably an oversight. Freeza mentions that Nappa was a full blooded Saiyan, saying that the only saiyans left were Vegeta, Raditz and Nappa.
