It truly was a Shawshank redemption

I like the colours and the text, it's a cool piece. What are the corner effects supposed to be?

I think that is suppose to be the paper tearing. I am not really into stuff like this, I like images, but it isn't bad. The text and color is good.

Thanks...:)

Illustrator is really hard to use, that's why I'm not really proud of this piece...but I have to get used to using it if I wanna be a graphic designer :\

Illustrator is great for graphic design of signs and logos. I use Illustrator to fix CAD drawings from ProE and Inventor.

Looks quite clean and simple, but it's definitely a great first step.

I never really had much interest in learning to work with illustrator. What made you get into it?

My friend told me I would need it if I wanted to pursue a career in graphic design, so I decided to experiment around with it and try to get the hang of using it.

But sadly, I really DON'T like it. It's WAY too different from photoshop. Illustrator is really complicated while Photoshop is just so easy and smooth to get into.

I'm starting to want to be a photographer now o.O

You dare steal my words? :arrg: :bang: :@ :tsucks:

I actually thought of becoming one too ViBe, even though, to everyday normal people its not that interesting, it actually is, you get to tour, finally have your own professional looking pictures, no copyright crap, and well one thing's for sure, you can combine it with photoshop and have lots of fun :w00t:

thats very good for your first illustrator project. If you make too many mistakes on one, it's super hard to go back and fix it, so you normally have to start over. good job though, I havn't made much with it yet, but your right, it's kinda tricky sometimes. I just finnished a class I was taking on it, but I think I'll only use illustrator in my future for making vector image comic books in black and white, so I can color them in photoshop.

Thanks AHDS :)

I mean photographers get payed...and produce some of the best pictures and clean cut images ever seen. They also get exposed to new thing and people on a DAILY.

If anything I would want to be a fashion photographer. That'd be so great. and colorful lol.

and you're right, there's PHOTOSHOP too! :w00t:
