I probably got your hopes up or something but no there is not going to be a Videl movie(AFAIK) but what would you think of one? Would you like to find out more about her past i.e. her Mother? I sure would, and that's not just the voices in my head talking  I was thinking of something like The History of Trunks but for Videl and it goes farther back into her history than that, like childhood and stuff. yeah it is the right place but what i dont get is why u always have great ideas about Videl?!   ok that would be awsome,just like the history of trunks but i would be happy to see a little more about her mother,making her mother an important character that maybe wasnt a real human but just half.And making Videl with some hidden powers (sounds like gohan's) would be cool (i really like to see her in action with z fighters but sometimes akira cant just think about a powerful girl

You are below dirt. Anyway yeah I agree Lavender it would be good to see a lot more of her mother and maybe she could have some secret powers of her own. Could prove to be interesting. |

i dont agree with you, if she's not so "important" as you say then why not try making her more important cuz she's the only girl in dbz that was a real fighter (android18 was a machine,she didnt choose to fight thats the reason she stoped and chichi was a martial arts expert but she choosed to be a house wife so)

Insulting a super mod, thats clever, dont be so stupid, pathetic and immature. You should respect others opinions. I didnt bash anyones opinion I just stated my own.
She didnt do anything in the Manga or Anime except for ruin Gohan (which is mostly Chi-chi's fault which is why I dont really like her) and she gave birth to an annoying character. It would be better if she was never in the Manga/Anime. |

I kinda agree with itagaki. She is an ok character, and has a lot of spirit. but she was never a big character. I never personally loved her enough to want to see a movie about her, but that is just me. |

Itagaki I react the same way to everyone who disrespects my Videl. Besides, it's not like I'm serious, I do respect your opinion :P She may be a small character but a movie could change that somewhat. She might not be a super saiyan 50, she might not have a power level of 10 million but she's awesome and that's all that matters. |

The problem is Lavender... Future Trunks HAD a story that needed to be told. He told us a story of how his future was ruined by the androids. All of the Z fighters were killed by them. Who wouldn't want to see that? Videl is the daughter of the champ. How interesting could that story be? Her father's the champ and she needed to learn martial arts so she lived up to his legacy; but other than that how hard was her life? She turned out normal. It wouldn't be very DBZ showing that story. History of Trunks had a lot of intense moments because Trunks' future was really hard and he managed to survive it and eventually change it for an alternate timeline. It was a story worth telling whereas anything about Videl... Not so much. She can be your favorite character but a movie about her would be about as interesting as telling the anouncer of the tournament's story. Edited by SSJVegito, May 23 2009, 05:58 AM.

Videl is the daughter of champ but her mother is ...??? well it would be interesting to see about her,videl is normal but she has to be an alien just to be interesting?? you dont know anything about her past and you say that she doesnt have a story to tell? how can you know that? (well when 99% dont agree at least we have 1% but as fused said it will take decades for this movie...) |

Woah man your a Super mod (Itagi Manabu) but you attack and insult people like that? Heck man its just Fused way, just his sense of humour. To be fair though he should have put an emoticon to make it seem like it was a joke like say  for example, he usually does. No reason to be so harsh even your first comment was a bit out of order, you know that Fused obviously likes the character so why bag on it the way you did? I agree though, i dont think they could do a movie on her past at least not in the way thats being suggested as she doesnt have a lot of weight in the series. BUT in saying that i would do a movie whereby she is helping the Z warriors fight a villian and during the movie we get to see flashbacks of her past, like what inspired her and motivates her. I wouldnt give her special powers as it would diminish the character and be too cliche. Could be a movie whereby despite all of the powers and ability of the Z warriors it is the heart an spirit of a mere human who can save the day. Videl has something special in herself and will not give up. Thats how i would do it. Alas it will never come to pass this movie.
