Firefox Favourite Manga One Piece	They stay fused forever, but they can give the earrings to someone else and they still work, this is shown in how elder Kai had already fused but gave Goku and Vegeta his earrings. They can be reused. Even if they take the earrings off, they stay fused. There are only a few circumstances in which a Potara fusion will break, otherwise, it's permanent. Look, I'd say with a lot of confidence that Vegito is stronger, and although the majority of people agree, for whatever reasons, there will always be people who come along and say Gogeta is stronger or they're equal. For that reason, rather then have a 100% sure answer, just read http://dbzf.co.uk/topic/27068/1/ and decide for yourself what you want to believe. Post 6 pretty much proved to me that Vegito is stronger, but decide for yourself. There's no right answer really. Edited by Psyam, Apr 26 2009, 12:43 PM.

Firefox Favourite Manga One Piece	Well if you haven't seen how the Potara earrings break yet, then I'll put it in a spoiler box. Just be wary it does contain plot details. Spoiler: click to toggle Vegito puts up a shield just as he's being absorbed by Buu, which means he gets inside Buu's body without being made a part of him, in order to free the people absorbed by Buu. However, possibly due to the digestive things inside Buu's body, once inside the fusion breaks and Vegito breaks down into Goku and Vegeta again. I don't believe it's ever shown if its possible to manually "un-fuse", but the fusion dance fusion will only last a maximum of 30 minutes, and certain things can reduce that time, such as using extreme levels of power. After the time expires they'll un-fuse regardless. It should also be noted that you can't fuse again after a fusion expires for a whole hour.

Firefox Favourite Manga Neon Genesis Evangelion. Dragonball/Z. FMA.	It's been said on many DBZ sites including the Wiki sites that Vegito was the strongest character in DBZ. Especially when you think of how the fusion works. With the fusion dance, both fighters have to have the EXACT same power level. The Potara fusion doesn't have that drawback. And since Goku is significantly stronger than Vegeta [SSJ3], the Potara fusion uses all of Goku's power. Not a fraction like the fusion dance. And I'm not going into breaking the Potara fusions as Psyam's box covered it and that's the only example we've seen.
